Person on arrival didn't speak English. Send me to another place, not the one of advertising photos. Then owner who was driving keep yelling at me saying that is my fault to rent an apartment ( this is what advertise said in Booking web).and not for this price. Insisted it was my fault. I explained what ad said,and was very unkind. The room was not ready,not cleaned. Place had no garden,cooking place it's a balcony with tablecloth full of black stains, and no bars on the balcony ... dangerous. I left and owner said they wouldn't charge me anything. I had a voice recording

The room was good , large but not very clean , unfortunately smell was bad and wasn’t clean at all , also the water in bathroom always was a problem! Cute grandpa and grandma living there , but unfortunately can’t say the same about their son))

Stayed for one week. Great location, 10 mins walk from beach. Many places to eat nearby. Room was nice and clean, bathroom was okay. Has minifridge. Has private entrance for the room. Host was helpful and welcoming. Really good value for the money
Little bit noisy, as my room windows were on same side as road. Some nights there were barking dogs who woke me up.

The stay is very near to bentota beach and the owner is more friendly. He welcomed us with good hospitality and the room is more spacious than expected.,owner helped us to get into some water sports in beach, we tried surfing it was a gud experience and seafood was amazing as well.

The very kind host Rayna and there cute dog, but besides that unfortunately the place wasn’t great!
It was dirty unfortunately, a lot of very old dust: many spider and cockroaches, the toilet flush didn't work at all! :(

We had a great time thanks to the incredibly hospitable family. From assisting with laundry to arranging shoe repairs and connecting us with a boat safari on the Bentota River, they went above and beyond. The first-floor room was lovely, and the dining area was comfortable. The local breakfast was tasty.
The kitchen was not very usable; insufficient and unclean equipment. Additionally, one of the ground floor rooms had a musty odor.
