What a beautiful property in the Bentota surrounds. I came here due to the glowing reviews and yet was still blown away. The rooms are so grand, comfortable and gorgeous gardens. Nishanti and her husband are genuinely gorgeous souls who want for all of their guests to have the best experience. They put so much thought into absolutely everything from welcoming you, to the presentation of the rooms, helping you get around town and with recommendations and a Devine breakfast on the balcony in the morning. I went out to clean the tuk tuk id hired and Nishanti came to give me a hand just to share in conversation and share the workload. It was truely the most memorable stay I had in my two weeks in Sri Lanka. Until next time! Miss you already!

After spending 20 days in Sri Lanka and staying in various accommodations and homestays, Sri Lancashire was by far the best. It is truly an amazing place.
The hosts, Nithanthi and Wasantha, were extremely helpful and genuinely hospitable. They have taken the guesthouse experience to the next level, elevating it to a 5-star standard.
The breakfast was amazing, the view was stunning, and we really enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you for all the wonderful experiences and for the lovely gift—it meant a lot to us.

A perfect stay. Well appointed and decorated room with a shaded balcony. Location across the road from a quiet but beautiful beach, away from the noise of Bentota which is 5 minutes by Tuktuk. Beach has a decent restaurant and bar, and there are other eating places nearby. Owners are wonderful; so helpful, as are the staff. And the breakfast! Well... best I had in a 5 week stay in Sri Lanka. Thank you Nishanthi and Wassantha.

We loved this property as it’s away from the madness of Hikkaduwa, the place easy to find, the room spacious and spotless with a lovely view and breakfast at your balcony which we hadn’t realised. The welcome was magical, warm and friendly, when we arrived it was pouring and they kindly transported us to a very good restaurant, the local beach was spotless, wonderful and free of tourists!

Lovely owners, welcome with flowers and fresh cocunut. The room is very nice and comfortable, with a great balcony. The owners will help je with anything and gives great advice. The breakfast is a lot, overwhelming. We also get a lunch for our trip to the rainforest , so nice.

This accommodation was absolutely great! The best accommodation in Sri Lanka. The room is very clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable, pillows too. The room has air conditioning, fan and access to a spacious balcony. The host is very nice and helpful. The host greeted us very friendly and prepared fresh flower in the room. The host speaks English and recommended us to take the bus to the airport, he had a very personable approach, picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. For dinner the host took us by tuktuk to their favourite restaurant (the name is Wave) and picked us up again by tuktuk after dinner. It was possible to leave our backpacks downstairs at the front desk after check out. Breakfast was fabulous. We had a big and very good breakfast (pineapple juice, a full plate of fruit, eggs and toast with jam and butter, and there were a few Sri Lankan specialties). Highly recommended! Absolutely perfect.

Wonderful hosts, kind, helpful and willing to provide local tuktuk rides. The house was only 100 metres from a beautiful beach. The breakfasts were amazing, the best we had in Sri Lanka.

Our group loved everything about our stay at Sri Lancashire GH. The breakfast was the best we experienced in Sri Lanka. Accommodation just gorgeous. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Nisthanthe and Wasthante very helpful with suggestions of things to do and will provide transfers to airport, shops for a reasonable fee

Fantastic place - with an exceptionally friendly staff. The service level was far higher than expected, and in a very welcoming manner. We have stayed in many places in Sri Lanka and in Asia in general - but this place is by far the best place we have stayed in terms of quality, atmosphere and price.

We had the most wonderful welcome when we arrived. Our room was spacious and full of flowers. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the best breakfasts we had in our entire 6 week trip. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, took us across the road to the beach where they had sun loungers, took us by tuk tuk to a recommended non touristy restaurant on the beach. It is situated on a quite stretch of beach away from the crowds on Bentota beach. This was definitely one of the best places we stayed and not the most expensive.

The experience there was nothing less than absolutely fantastic. The hosts were extremely kind and attentive! We felt so welcome. The room was decorated upon arrival and we received a welcome drink and a flower necklace right away. The location is beautiful and close to the beach, which is highly recommended, the room is comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. We've had dinner at "The Boiling Lobr" right by the beach which was also delicious and is recommended.
We would have prolonged our stay especially for this hotel. It was one of the best stays we have experienced and would recommend it to anyone who travels to Bentota.

We felt like we were at auntie and uncle's house! Everything was thought of in the room! Each floor was decorated with local products and had cozy sitting areas. We were given restaurant suggestions and walked across the road to find sun beds on the beach. Our hosts were so easy to chat with and were so willing to help take us to a local restaurant as well as come with umbrellas to the beach to walk us 'home' in a rainstorm.
Like: warmly greeted by hosts; presented with a flower lei and a King coconut welcome drink; very clean and spacious room with high ceilings; balcony with table and chairs as well as 2 lounge chairs; 4 pillows; fresh flowers and leaves scattered throughout the room; electrical outlets on both sides of bed; on third floor; wardrobe has hangars; room is furnished great thought; hosts are amazing - they took us to restaurant in their tuk tuk and came to beach with umbrellas to rescue us in a rainstorm; large, thick, soft towels; shower has very hot water and strong water pressure; local touches: clay vases, woven grass mats and baskets; lamps on each side of bed; extra blanket in the wardrobe; breakfast: passionfruit juice, diverse fruit plate, yogurt with honey, eggs of your choice and a variety plate with 5 different Sriracha Lankan local foods - a beautiful and delicious spread
