Wonderful
This is a wonderful all round place to stay with lovely people and gorgeous rooms... but my favourite thing about this place is the setting of the pool - it feels so tropical and natural, surrounded by wildlife and even with a resident frog! Just beautiful and the perfect retreat.
Just remember to pre-order if you want sri lankan breakfast :-)

Loved the easy going friendly staff , loved the surroundings, the chef was amazing. Rohan was very helpful the staff were always smiling and very welcoming . The pool was a fabulous temperature and it was so peaceful. Also loved the friendly dogs .
The only thing is the beach was not near , but it was only a short Tuktuk ride and did not cause us any problems

The rooms are very spacious and thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail. The staff is kind and helpful, although you do need to seek them out if you require assistance or if anything is missing. The property features a beautiful garden, and the pool is amazing – a perfect place to relax
The rooms are spacious but could benefit from additional lighting. Our bathroom had an open window without a cover, and part of the ceiling was open to the outside, which unfortunately allowed mosquitoes and cockroaches to enter. There were no mosquito nets in the room, so we ended up with quite a few bites by the time we left.
The internet connection is also very weak, making it nearly impossible to access the internet from the room. While the location is beautiful, the listing stated that the beach was an 8-minute walk, but in reality, it takes 20+ minutes to get there.
Dining at the property is quite expensive, with prices more in line with high-end hotels. While the food is good, it doesn’t quite match the standard expected at those price points.
Overall, the place has potential but needs some improvements to match expectations

It was beautifully laid out and very serene. The room was spacious and maintained well throughout our stay. I loved how friendly and helpful everyone was and also that they offered free tea and coffee and the chance to fill up our water bottles as often as we wanted. The massage treatment was perfect and the groundskeeper really helped us understand the flora and fauna surrounding us.
No serious issues but I think some people may think it is located too far from the beach and other amenities. We were happy to walk 10 -15 mins to the beach but some may find that difficult. Similarly re distance to other restaurants. On the positive side someone was always available to call a tuk tuk when needed.

Simply fantastic!!!
If we're ever again in the area we'll both definitely want to stay here again.

The property and the garden are beautiful, the room amazingly big, clean and comfortable, the swimming pool lovely, the dogs adorable and the staff very nice. The location was very convenient, quietly nested in a peaceful lane, less than 20min walk from a wonderful beach. The owner is also a lovely man. It was such a great find!
I would come back without any hesitation.
I wish they served real coffee and not Instant coffee, at least as an Add-on option!
Breakfast was ok but quite expensive for the quality.

Rohan and staff excellentl, anything you needed sorted asap. The rooms are by far the biggest we have stayed in , in Sri Lanka and this is our 3rd visit. Planning on staying at there sister hotel in yarla on our 4th visit.

This was my third stay at the property, so I think that says it all! I just love the peacefulness of the place and the natural surroundings. There's a lovely pool, a beautiful, well-maintained garden area and the rooms are huge and tastefully decorated and a bonus you don't often find - lots of hangers to hang up your clothes!! Really comfy bed too! Delicious breakfast with great touches like proper sausage, a slice of lime for the papaya and home-made jam! The Sri Lankan option is really tasty! The staff were great - you only have to ask and they will brew you a complimentary pot of tea - and it was really nice to be remembered by both the chef and the massage lady - I enjoyed two massages while I was there. Finally, when the driver who was booked to take me to my next location wasn't able to make it, Rohan stepped in and drove me himself - now that's hospitality at it's best!

Nice spacious rooms with air conditioning, on suite bathroom and big veranda, lovely swimming pool. Really tasty food, had some amazing sea food fish and prawns for dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff.

the rooms were amazing the view was incredible and the food and staff spectacular. special mention to Mario and Jack the dogs who wer fun to play with. the monkeys beautiful birds were amazing the spa massage was all class and the chef and boys working there were fun and always smiles on their faces. food was amazing for all meal times. thanks to all we will never forget it

Amazing place to stay- huge, very clean and welcoming rooms in gorgeous serene setting, a sanctuary. Lovely staff (loved the fresh coconut) who were very accommodating (esp with transport, tours and rickshaws) and all the food was delicious. Beautiful empty white sand beaches just a very quick and cheap rickshaw ride or 10-15 min walk away. Highly highly recommend.
Everything was fabulous, the only thing to be aware of is there are two harmless and friendly dogs at the property that will come to the tables to try to have your food. Could be a bit bothersome at times but the staff would try to move them away when they could.
