The Accomodation, its location and environment simply SUPERB. More than anything else I could see and felt the impact of MR BAWA in architecture, the interiors, landscaping- simply fantastic
Difficult to say - IT SHOULD BE PRESERVED for ALL to see what a mind can visualise , design and present the final product!

Everything about this stay was perfect. From the grounds, the room, the food and the staff. Couldnt recommend it more if you are looking for a bit of luxury, tranquility and even more so, getting to stay in a place of historic significance.

We knew we would love it & we absolutely did! What a splendid property. Please read about the iconic Geoffery Bawa before you book here. Only then will you grasp the wholesomeness of this place & not bicker about random mundane amenities is regular hotels. This is like living inside a biography of a genius. Teardrop staff does their best to deliver & they do very well. The menu is limited, but whatever is on it is utterly delicious. To interact with staff that has worked with Mr Bawa gives one a chance to peek into the life of one of the greatest architects of the 20th century. Will visit again.
Just one chair in the room & no other seating. If it's double occupancy, one person always has to sit on the bed while in the room. Adding an extra chair will be a huge help. Also, there could be a lamp on the desk as it becomes a very dark corner.

It's a really extraordinary place to spend some quiet time contemplating the world. I stayed in the Gallery Studio which was a really calm and beautiful space. One suggestion is to have at least one comfortable chair inside in addition to the day bed/sofa. Gorgeous spaces, Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, lovely pool, it's verging on magical.

Geoffrey Bawas great gift. The property is exceptional on many levels. To be able to explore in detail the legacy of Bawas life and work is a great privilege. The gardens are a wonder and interface with buildings symbiotically. The staff are very attentive and the whole property is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed dining on the terrace overlooking the river; particularly watching the bats and birds in Geoffrey's G&T spot.
