The room, pool and owners were all wonderful. It was a great location for taking the bus or train. The only downside was that it’s a bit of a walk to the beach. Overall though, it’s great value for the money and I would recommend it.

Comfy bed, a simple kitchen that’s easy to cook in, and a cute little pool that’s great for a midday dip. Lalith(the owner) and his family are fantastic. He would check up on me everyday to make sure I was enjoying my stay.
Like in most of Sri Lanka, the WiFi can be a bit spotty.

Great Stay with Convenient Location and Facilities

We loved our stay here, the property is so great. A short walk from the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was great, Lalith was so accommodating and helpful, organising our taxi to the airport for us. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Nice spacious apartment where the hostess prepares breakfast in your apartment. Well equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Lovely to have suitcase space and not be tripping over them. Easy walk to beach and amenities

Great communication at all times in the lead up to and during our booking. Huge apartment set up with everything needed for a long stay including washing machine, iron and well equipped kitchen. Perfect location for getting to the beach, lagoon, shops, bars and restaurants. Were so kind in letting us arrive early and leave our bags. Also, said we could leave our bags on the day we left. Lovely garden area which I took advantage of for a workout. Owner can organise a fabulous boat tour on the lagoon. They asked us what we would like for breakfast and I mentioned a very special dish, which they then immediately said that they would make. Was delicious!
Bed was hard. As with all of Sri Lanka, expect a bit of traffic noise. Found it a bit awkward with breakfast being served in our apartment. Owners live offsite and had prepped then brought, but had to do the tea and coffee in our kitchen. Suggest maybe they should just not include breakfast. Also means you need to be specific about time of breakfast day before.

The AA worked perfectly, breakfast was good, confortable bed, mosquito net was appreciated because there were many many mosquitos in the room. The location is not close to the beach or restaurante, but it is very calm area with no noise.

Nice and clean place, within walking distance to most sights. Spot for parking. Very accommodating host, arranged breakfast for us with requested breakfast food. Access to washing machine and full kitchen. AC in bedroom, fan in living room. All in all, perfect for us needing a short stay for a small group!

We had an unforgettable stay in your beautiful apartment in Bentota! Everything was perfect: the apartment was cozy, clean and thought out to the smallest detail. We were very pleased that there was everything necessary for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a mosquito net over the bed, which is especially important in a tropical climate.
The location is just great - a quiet and peaceful place where you can relax, but at the same time shops, the beach and the main attractions are within walking distance.
Special thanks for your attention and willingness to help in any situation. You responded to all our requests quickly and with care, which made our stay here even more enjoyable.
Particularly memorable was the excursion along the river to the mangrove forests, where we saw amazing nature and animals, as well as an incredible one and a half hour Ayurvedic massage, after which we felt completely renewed.
And, of course, delicious and varied breakfasts - every day began with a gastronomic pleasure.
Thank you for your hospitality! We will definitely come back and recommend this place to all our friends and acquaintances.

Perfect place for a long term stay. You can do the laundry, cook your own meals and the beach is only a 5 min walk. Many people will offer you River safari, but make sure you let the property manager book you with his friend - he was a great guide and could even spot hidden animals, that other boats just passed by.

Lalith has contacts in all activities you want to do and can get you best rates, he is not money minded and helps the guests in best way possible
You have to walk a bit to reach the beach but the route is a residential area so you have atm, super market, eatery, fruit shop so it's worth the walk.
I had previously booked Channa Villa and it was a horrible experience the host cancelled the booking wanted offline booking quoted high price for everything and don't book river safari with Channa, my current host Lalith helped us get the safari at much lesser cost, the tuk tuk person even picked us up and dropped us. Channa quoted very high price was not at all professional, any day would prefer Lalith even though it's not right at the beach unlike Channa as the tradeoff os money and peace of mind and the warmth of your host
