We had an excellent stay in Channa Villa & Tours. This place is 5 min walking from the beach. This place has a nice common kitchen and very close to the mail road.
Only con is you need to cross the Bentota railway station to go to the beach.

Beautiful setting, very close to a beach. Lovely owners who could’ve have been more helpful. Huge , delicious breakfast. Only there for a night so no chance to explore the area.

The staff were very helpful and kind. I arrived early and they had my room ready in half an hour.
The room was spacious and so was the ensuite bathroom.
There was lots of natural light.
There was a small balcony with a dining table attached to the room which was great for eating at.
The owners provided vehicles for visiting local places which I took advantage of.
They also arranged and provided transport for me from the hotel to my residence in Colombo.
There was no possibility of dinner in the evening.

We loved Channa Villa and Bentota so much we booked an extra night, if we'd know we would have spent less time in Mirissa and more time here. The standard of accommodation was the best we had stayed in through out the whole of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, with soft pillows and clean linin. We had a fridge in our room and the use of a shared kitchen which was spotless and we were able to make our own tea and even make our own toast for breakfast as we had bought bread from the local supermarket. Close to the railway line, but you could hardly hear the trains from our room, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which was the best beach by far. Plus close to a few restaurants dotted along the railway track. And of course friendly staff

After 13 (budget) accommodations in Sri Lanka, this was definitely the best value for our money.
Large and very clean room, very kind hosts, nicely located between the beach and the main road and a well-working shower with hot water.

The hosts are very helpful and provide good guidance. Rooms are neat.
There are limited beach side cafes and bars at this location. There was breakfast items put in the fridge but the lady asked us not to consume those which seemed quite weird. ACs need quite a lot of time to cool.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful and central location. The hosts are a wonderful family, very kind and helpful. The room was large with a four poster bed, mosquito net and a great sized en suite bathroom. Very clean throughout. In addition to this, the room had its own fridge and safety box. The villa has a beautiful terrace outside too. It also has a fully equipped kitchen which you can use. WiFi works very well. It's close to the beach, shops and restaurants. All within walking distance. They also dropped us at the airport at the end of our trip. The hosts own a mini van and tuk tuk if you want to do any trips away from bentota. Really recommend this villa to everyone!
