Disappointing
Nice people but don't understand english so while modifying booking etc. Can be difficult to converse and navigate.
Too many insects, the rooms are small, tight cramped.

Very close to the beach and areas you want to visit and see in bentota.
Ananda himself is very knowledgeable and took me on a trip to see the sea turtles which was very nice! He also sorted out transport for me from the airport.

If you've ever wanted to go to Sri Lanka, go now! Super nice and helpful people, no crowds even on the most tourist trails and attractions, kindness and smile at every step. Ananda Villa Bentota is a perfectly located villa with a comfortable room and bathroom, run by a lovely family. Close to the beach, close to the train station, close to the ATM. A great place to catch your breath after landing.
