Mahamed and Fatima are the most wonderful hosts, and there is no doubt they enjoy having guests, and want their guests to be as comfortable as possible. They made our stay truly memorable, and I wish we had time to stay longer. I will for sure be back, this place comes highly recommended from me! Surroundings are gorgeous, hiking on every corner, it's quiet and calm, and you will eat like a queen with Fatima's food (she should have a restaurant). I haven't eaten that well in all of Sri Lanka, and it's been my most pleasant stay. If you are into nature, mental relaxation, great food, and slowing down a bit, do make sure to book at least two/three nights with them, and just enjoy!

Wonderful
We ended up paying a bit extra to upgrade our room. Large comfortable bed and pillows. Good spacious bathroom and shower with hot water.
Use of a sitting area adjacent the room.
We had a great Sri Lankan dinner with lots of different dishes as well. Good breakfast though spicy.
there was a shared kitchen area within the suite. so you could lock the bedroom door but not the other. a very large family showed up after us and rented the rest of the guesthouse. They were quite noisy but it is their holiday.

We stayed here on our way to Ella whilst on a cycle tour. We had an exceptionally warm welcome and were given a fabulous meal in the evening - the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka (and there’s been plenty!).
It’s a lovely peaceful spot and there was plenty of wildlife to see from the terrace.

If you look for nature and serenity this is the perfect place to be. The host just was great and most helpful with tipps and any other whishes. He even cleaned our car, as he thought it was too dirty!!! The food just amazing including special whishes. If you want to be out of the main tourist places and find a really beautiful place - go there!

Friendly homestay. Hosts are attentive but give you your privacy. Stay half board for the breakfast/dinner feasts! Quiet, clean and comfortable.

This is really nice place in the heart of the jungle, the owner’s family is the most hospitable I have met in Sri Lanka. Everything was fine, especially really hot water in tube :) The owner always asked if we need something, gave us fresh juices and tea for free! And the dinner that they cooked was extremely delicious! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!
