Exceptional
After 3 weeks travelling around Sri Lanka this was the best place we stayed. Lovely large room, air conditioning, fridge, hot water and a nice balcony overlooking the beautiful garden.
But best of all was the warm welcome from Rathna, Chitra and the family. They really made us feel at home and looked after us.
Chitra's breakfasts are amazing, something different everyday, and the dinner we had was delicious and wonderful value.
Rathna is really helpful and can organise all of the tours.
We stayed 6 nights and had a great time, lovely beaches and river cruises nearby, and I was lucky enough to see the incredible Perahera on the Saturday night!
I will be back one day!

Wonderful
The family running this were very kind and accommodating. When my vegan friend couldn't eat some of the breakfast items they went out of their way to provide him with extra bits for breakfast
The property is great and I'd stay again but it's a little far away from most places. They were really sweet and drove us into town twice though.

Solal Villa is a beautiful place! It is really peaceful und surrounded by nature. The Family is super friendly and warm-hearted, we felt very welcoming. It is a bigroom with a lot of windows and a big toilet. We loved the balcony and the very delicious breakfast. Thanks again!
