The staff were extremely friendly and helped out whenever possible. Servicing was great.
The room was not the cleanest or most well-maintained. It was very old, and the Wifi wasn't working properly in the room. The bathroom shower area was also tiny and made it hard to turn around without touching the curtains.

Location is amazing, one corner from Hamra street. A shop is just across the street and it is open until rather late. There are many restaurants around. You do not need to walk too far to catch shared vans for moving around Beirut. Bed was rather comfortable.
The hotel seems to be in renovation process, so dust was all around. Noise isolation is bad, so you hear sounds from outside.

The location in Hamra and the wifi quality were both good. The room size was also quite large. And considering the cleanliness and state of the rest of the room, I'd say the fact that there were no bedbugs is a plus...
The bathroom constantly smelled of cigarette smoke, and the showerhead wasn't great. Also, the shower basin and curtain were terribly dirty. Also, other parts of the hotel were literally demolished/being renovated, and I had to walk through them to get to my room. Honestly, this was likely a health/safety hazard considering the state of demolition.

A place to have your bags in and to sleep
Wifi was awful. Now yes Lebanon has power outages but everytime it happens the wifi disconnects, the don't have a UPS. we have to wait for like 15min so the wifi gets back. We couldn't take showerd properly since the water is too salty and not clean. Its bad for the skin.
