The room was comfortable with handy equipments, was upgraded to suit by Karmen (BIG Thanks) and the rest of the staff; I am writing this late and forgot the names (sorry guys). Looking forward our next visit :)
Nothing was wrong - wanted to stay longer, this hotel makes you feel like home.

The Gems Hotel is well located for the centre of Beruit, this is my second stay there. If you are going at the weekend however, be sure to ask for a back bedroom - the music from the bars on the streets below, pumps out until about 2 or 3 in the morning. If you have travelled for a long way, you certainly won't be getting any sleep on a street fronting room. I had forgotten this! The place itself is absolutely fine - the food is local food, it is easy to walk into town at night as a single female, everything is perfectly safe and the staff are lovely. Be aware that I am only marking this down for the sleepless night.
Loud music when you are staying at the front of the hotel - goes on until the early hours of the morning at weekends. The Lebanese sure know how to party!! ;)

Breakfast was very poor and I asked for an omelet and waited more than 30 minutes to retell the omelet . Room was big but cigarette smell, couches was very dirty, with dust and black spots

Locationis good, family room is big enough for 4-5 person and it has good air conditioning and noise protection
It was dusty, I asked to book me a taxi from airport and it was received and approved by hotel but no one wait me at arrival. Breakfast is ok but not great
