The location was excellent for me because my meetings were basically next door, like walking distance. There was no need to take any other transportation than to the airport. And, since I wasn't going to do any sightseeing...
It's a standard ibis, with small rooms and compact space in a country where you normally get large rooms. The same applies to breakfast that is normally included in the prices.

The hotel is just off the airport bus stop then the night market is also less than 5 minutes walk, few meters away there's museums still within a walking distance and malls. I found the hotel clean and the staff were nothing short of amazing, they even surprised me with a cake on my birthday which i appreciated.

The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. The staff was extremely helpful when we needed support with a bad tour company. They were also very welcoming when we had to wait for a long time in the lobby after checking out.
While clean, the rooms and bathroom need some updates.

Clean and comfortable. Staff are welcoming I had a small hiccup at the hotel and they managed it very well.
I ordered a hot ginger lemon tea. I'd like to suggest that instead of slicing ginger to place in the teapot, please mash the ginger. Will allow for more flavour.

The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to most popular sightseeing sites. The staff are very friendly, rooms are always very clean and breakfast was very good. The hotel is in an older building, but nevertheless it is very well maintained. So, I recommend you stay in this hotel, no doubt.
I would prefer to have a freshly squeezed juice for breakfast.

The staff were very attentive and super friendly. We were there for 3 nights and all the staff for the different shifts were all equally good. The location is great with many restaurants within walking distance. One which deserve specially mention is Khim Chai Deu, a western and Lao hybrid dishes. Three of the must see sites in Vientiane - Wat Sisaket, Ho Pra Keow and the Patuxay - War Memorial are within walking distance. No need to sign up for the tours. The room size is adequate although on the smaller side. The room is clean and was cleaned every day.
Mosquitoes are present in the lobby.
