Wonderful
The restaurant and breakfast were very good, the staff very nice. Pool not crowded.
There is no filtered water readily available - have to ask at the restaurant for refills.

Overall pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. Although the hotel is somewhat "aged", it is in relatively good condition and mostly clean. Price for the hotel room was very fair!
The restaurant was not very quick in cleaning up the tables. At two occasion, I had to clean up my own table. Staff should pay more attention to detail. The worst experiences were the evenings. It seems there is a club or some establishment very near by and there is very loud music until late and made it impossible to fall asleep. During the day, there was construction noise, making it a bit less comfortable to enjoy the pool. Location is a bit far off and sometimes difficult to get a taxi or transportation.

Good hotel, the rooms are spacious, the pool area is beautiful, the staff was very helpful and kind, the breakfast was good and copious, and the proximity to the airport makes it a good choice for a last night
the doors of the rooms are very soundproof so I could hear everything happening in the kitchen and lobby from my room. they do provide earplugs though so in the end not much of a problem.

This hotel is very much Lao style and they’ve worked hard to keep the history of the place. We loved the little attention to detail regarding the history of the property. We found the location ideal as it was walking distance for us to anywhere we wanted to be. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the pool was a great place for a dip after exploring. We thought it was excellent value for money. Considering you are around the corner to a very busy street, when chilling by the pool or in the restaurant you’d think you were in a little peaceful oasis! It can be noisy at night but the hotel provides ear plugs! This place worked for us for sightseeing and catching a breath from our travels.

Really nice hotel. Comfortable bed and nice clean room. Staff were good and breakfasts were included in price and were nice with good choice. Had an evening meal also which was nice and reasonable priced. Nice pool also. I would recommend.

The staff were delightful. They could not have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. I found the bed very comfortable, but my friend found it very hard. The food was excellent. Sitting dining outside on the verandah overlooking the pool was very relaxing. The pool was lovely, and we enjoyed a swim while we were there. The staff helped us to book a driver to our next destination. We really enjoyed our stay at the Chandara.
The location wasn't great, but you can't change that!

Charming Old School Hotel, tucked away on a Side Street, extremely helpful front desk and restaurant staff. We were made welcome the moment we entered the hotel with a beverage. From that moment forward they were very accommodating to all our questions. The front desk staff member was so helpful, even venturing to the train station in the evening to pick up an item that was not allowed on the train Luang Prabang. This was incredible and much appreciated.

Excellent room and shower room. Breakfast was great too. Pool was a relief from the heat and staff were excellent. Close to airport (VTE) and a kok kok move terminal close by for travelling around the city.
Could be noisy late at night due to local Karaoke area but didn’t affect our stay. They also supply ear plugs if required.

had such a world-class experience at Chandara Boutique Hotel, starting from the receptionist to the restaurant chef, and the ladies who take care of the cleanliness of the rooms. From day one, they welcomed me with kindness, love, and warmth. When I requested something, such as rescheduling my dates and asking for an extension on my stay, they went above and beyond to fulfill my requests. The hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood with restaurants around it. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend it. Thank you to all the staff for their wonderful treatment and kindness. It was so nice staying there. I wish you all the best..♡♡♡"

Proximity of a restaurant. The first night there was a wedding on and the noise was so bad until 11.30pm we had to leave the hotel. The next day there was music again but no wedding so it wasn't so loud. However, the hotel leave ear plugs for the guests, in the room, so it must be a regular problem

Beautiful small hotel with excellent service. Very good breakfast. Very nice interior, especially entrance lobby and restaurant area.
Location a bit far from centre, but not a major issue. Loca app (for taxi) useful and fairly cheap.
