For me is the best hostel in vangvieng. I had bad experience in another hostel then I decided to come to here , I contacted the stuff about the possibility to get lower bed and he said yes , I stayed there 12 days the price was very cheap and the guys there are very nice we play billiard everyday and they give me information also they make yummy breakfast with different options in the menu, I went to another cities. Then I back to this hostel again.
I would like to come back if I come again to Laos. I recommend this hostel is the best there .

Clean, spacious room, staff were very helpful with sorting out tours, tuk tuks, etc, good value
Wi-Fi was very patchy in my room (upper floor), it was noisy at night from nearby bars/clubs (but that's probably the case for most of the town)

Excellent value for the price (about $2.5 a night when I stayed), family owned/ran, friendly staff, yummy included breakfast
Toilets/bathroom could use improvement- sink drained into a bucket and leaked flooding the floor daily, toilets had a pull flush and many guests just didn’t have the patience/bother to figure out how to flush after using the toilets.
Bunk bed set up was not pleasant- top bunk was difficult and invasive to climb into. The bottom bunk curtain covers the ladder so you have to open another guests curtain to get into the bunk.
Common area has lot of tables but nowhere really comfortable to lounge during the day

I don't have any comments or complaints about this place because the room rate was really good. It's hard to find a hostel that's cheap and includes a hot breakfast brought out to you every morning by the staff.

Helpful and friendly staff, great price, free simple but tasty breakfast every morning (with a choice!), rooftop terrace with lots of space and beautiful views where I spent most of my time. Plenty of shower rooms and toilets. AC at night. Clean. Lockers. Easy to book a bus with them. I stayed for almost two weeks. Central location, the bus from Vientiane stopped quite close to the hostel. Happy with my stay!
No drinking water. The bathrooms are lit quite dimly. No AC during the day (for the price, can't really complain though)
