Very comfortable and in good location. Easy 10-15 minute walk to main road in the town but in a calmer and more tranquil area. Feels very homey. Owner went the extra mile and sent clothes I left drying overnight to my hotel in Vientiane.

Great place to chill next to the river or in the garden. Owners are happy and friendly, I was having great time there. It is close to the city but nice and quiet!

I loved the location. A quiet part of town, but within walking distance to everything.
There is a multi story hotel being built in front of the bungalows.

The location is beautiful, nice garden, directly at the water front, possible to swim and bathe. A 5 mins walk away from the main city.
The bungalows are quite old and need renovation and better cleaning, but the price is quite cheap for Vang Vieng, so you get what you paid.

So close to town, The owners are exceptional, beautiful couple, always smiling, nothing too much trouble, basic bungalow, with drying rack, outdoor sitting area to watch the mountain view and the hot air balloons flying over, magnificent aircon to cool down after a hot summer day sightseeing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful setting in a great location. A lovely family runs it. Cold and hot drinking water available at reception. Great value for money. A short walk into town over the bridge. A really great place to stay to explore Vang Vieng!

During our 3 days stay we have been the only guests. We liked the green garden and the vicinity to the river.
Opt for one of the newer rooms.
Due to the neighboring big hotels it tends to be noisy, esp in the evenings.
There is a lot of traffic on the bridge from scooters and chinese package tourists on the river.

Location was great, a more peaceful part of town to spend your holiday. Clean, safe & comfortable bungalows near the river! No aircon but the fan was sufficient for January nights. I stayed in an older bungalow, bathroom a bit dated. Hot water on demand & water pressure was good. Host family is just wonderful. They gave me bananas each day too! Noy was able to arrange zip lining & LCR tickets. Two go-to restaurants a minutes walk away. In the early evening hot air balloons above & at night lanterns lit the sky. Views of the river from the property were perfect. Will stay there again when visiting Vang Vieng!

As a lone traveller I enjoy the peace and quiet that bungalows offer. This was no exception. Peaceful environment in a beautiful garden set right on the river. Family run business - everyone keen to assist and very friendly. Breakfast was standard fare but good value. Close location to Vang Vieng centre.
No complaints. It provided everything I needed at a very reasonable cost.

family and riverfront
disgusting hut they put us in with a toilet that’s been leaking all over floor for ages. we ask to move next day and was then put into another hut but that had an A/C unit that just dripping every time it was on. The signs showed it had been leaking a long time. unbeknown to us they charged us extra for the second room because of A/C unit which leaked.
if you book well in advance they dump you in the worst area and save better units for walk ins.

The location is good enough for us after I have seen the other hotels near the main streets. Restaurant and night market are only 5 minutes walk away. The owners are friendly, helpful, they took care of our train tickets which was really tricky to purchase. Many sitting areas overlooking the river. But be careful not to block the toilet :)

Very helpful owners. The Bungalows are great. At the Riverside.
No direct access by car, in case you have a big suitcase. In the morning and in the afternoon loud due to speedboats on the river.

Was nice, but the toilet did not work properly. So if you have to poop, expect a longer stay in the bathroom. ?
