Very nice owners, fix any issues, relatively quiet and nice view and in nature.
Not many food options and breakfast too basic for the price. Compared to other options in the area, more expensive yet Lower quality - for food and quality of room (but more quiet/in nature than some of other in area). Overall, if was less expensive, would fit

Absolutely stunning location on the lake with sunset views. Comfortable and modern room and big terrace! We loved watching the water buffalo on the nearby islands. You can use the kayaks for free. The staff were great too.
Location is a bit out of the way but we didn’t mind! One restaurant on site which was nice but I suppose limited options, but suited us fine

What a fantastic oasis of serenity. Immaculately clean bungalow right on water front, friendly helpful staff and service, nice food restaurant. Only 6 bungalows so feels like you have the lake to tourself
Loved everything so much extended our stay
It is remote... But that's the beauty of it ... Bring supplies if you like lots of snacks etc . Rooms have fridges.

So sad to leave but this lovely place will hold a special place in our hearts forever

Ideally located for a quiet lake-based rest. Swimming and kayaking and watching sunsets a must, and resting a real possibility! Helpful manager and pleasant staff.
The food options were limited.

This hotel was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the lake that made our stay so peaceful and enjoyable. The owner was incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed, and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating.
If you’re looking for a serene place to unwind with great service and breathtaking scenery, this is the place to be. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!

The staff were so friendly and kind and very attentive. They made us feel comfortable and welcome. They speak very good English so it was very easy to communicate.
The location is very quiet and far away from everything but for us it was perfect to have a couple of days to rest and relax. We used the kayaks to explore the lake which was so fun. Food was delicious and they adapted the menu for us as we are vegetarian.
The family who run the resort work really hard to make sure the site is kept clean and comfortable.
We would definitely come back and stay again!
We had a small issue when we first arrived but it was resolved quickly by the amazing staff.

If you want quiet, then this is your place. But for anything else, I am not sure it is what you would want. You are a captive audience because all there is is your room and the restaurant - no nearby villages, and a long way from the rest of the world. The view was magnificent, but there is just nothing to do.
Just a tip. I booked a transfer with my hotel in Vang Vien to the resort AND also a pick up for 2 days later, which transferred me further down to Vientiane. I would strongly suggest doing likewise. The place is very isolated.

The view, staff and flexibility of the chef. We requested food that wasn't on the menu and the staff agreed to buy everything from the market for us for the next day's meal.
The water pressure in the shower. The rooms could do with a little refurbishment/modern touch.

It was so peaceful. Good views despite burning season. Staff were so lovely. Food was good and had a small restaurant on site.

It was 45 mins from vang vieng which is fine but there is no way of getting there other than a taxi which is 450000 kip one way. We were going to take the bus from the nearest village ( 15 min walk) but the bus runs in the morning only to vang vieng and back and apparently can change its course so not really sure where it would drop us off so we took the taxi option to be certain we knew where we would be dropped off.
Basically would definitely visit again but knowing the bus service times and exactly the spots where it would pick you up and drop you off would be a huge bonus.

The beautiful view and cozy and private surroundings. The attentiveness and professional attention provided constantly by the two brothers who own this property. They were very accommodating and patient and supportive with each of our requests.
The bedding could use a bit of improvement with a nicer and more comfortable Mattres and sheets/ blankets. My fiancé also was in need of a blow dryer.
