Nice old school hotel with the best breakfast I ever met. Perfect view to main sight of Kazakhstan.
The bartender - I've got to situation that there left only one comfortable place near the window with a lot of uncomfortable. I was not allowed to seat there cause it was reserved "for management". why management have a priority above clients is ununderstandable. Never mind, nobody have come.( I was siting there for two hours). It was just polite disrespect from the bartender!

Only the location!
The room was dirty, floor was full of black hair. Terrible bathroom - smelly, old facilities needing to be repaired badly. Breakfast was very poor - unfresh pastries, greesy eggs, disgustingly burned coffee

Spa is outside in another building, very old, no lights , pool is too small and not clean. Too many people from outside

The location and the views were perfect. The terrace for breakfast also had amazing views. The room was big and comfortable.
The spa is in a different building, it's not just for hotel guests and the treatments are not included, even if they said so.

Location and 3 members of staff , and tall lad who served breakfast as rest of staff was rude.
The location of this hotel is perfect. Everything else is just wrong. We were greeted by a very cold, emotionless lady who told us that booking is for 1 person when booking was for 3. After me showing her my booking confirmation and all correspondence, she was interested only in taking money. Hotel advertised with gym, spa and swimming pool this is a lie as its in the different building behind the hotel and it's communal to anyone. Facilities of the pool changing room and sauna very dirty. At breakfast, a lady who cooks omelettes and fried eggs doesn't wear gloves or hat after she touches everything she handles your food and uses extremely a lot of oil. She can't fry eggs as yolk is all broken. The room doesn't get cleaned unless you ask for it and toilet paper you have to ask for every day. Room cards have to be programmed every day. Half of baulbs don't work, and so are wall sockets. The room should have been with a safety box, but that was just brought in later when I showed my booking, so anyone can walk away with your safety box. The carpet is filthy you cannot walk on it without getting your feet black.

Location!
The check in staff, especially Asel, was very helpful and kind!
Many things the unpleasant smell in the lobby broken phones burned or missing light bulbs the interior has not been renovated for a long time the cafeteria for breakfast was overcrowded and had few tables the pool and gym were in a separate building and were inadequate! Overall, it was a disappointment! And, it looked like they bribed somebody to get four stars!
