While front desk staff were very welcoming and hospitable almost no one spoke English so communication was a problem. The tea kettle I requested had to sit on the floor because the cord really short. Not very convenient!

They take only cash, but at the beginning of your stay, and they refused to provide any invoice or confirmation of payment until the check-out. Basically you give them money but they don't provide any confirmation you payed until you leave. For me is unacceptable to give cash and not to recive any confirmation, at least a signed paper. There is lack of soundproofing and seems that some guests used hotel for only one night and sexual tourism. Quite a lot of noise. You can't regulate heating in room.

Beware Terrible staff. They steal money. They didn't accept payment by card although even at the reception it's written that they accept cards. They said that hotel is undergoing some investigation and can only take transfer to personal bank account or cash for a month. I paid cash. They said they will give me cash receipt upon checkout. And at the checkout Zhanna on reception started telling me what an awful client I am. They said that we'd better make reservations directly with them not via Booking. Although Booking.com prices are better than theirs. And I 1. Didn't get my cash receipt. 2. They postfactum cancelled two bookings out of four I did for our team. It's openly written they offer breakfast for 3000 kzt. On October 26th breakfast was good. Next day it was much smaller that my colleague felt hungry. So I told kitchen why they have different nutritive density of breakfasts. And the lady in kitchen offered quick fried egg to add. We are grateful for that. But then Zhanna at the reception told me that the cost of the breakfast they offer is 3800 kzt. And it's just their goodwill to sell it at 3000 kzt. She said that kitchen lady will be fined for those extra eggs. She accused me in room cancellations by the date and time given by booking.com. She said I was blacklisted by the hotel as I cancelled rooms in advance not first time. It's true, but it didn't hurt their business as the hotel was full. And I didn't break rules of Booking.com I told her that I will continue booking via Booking.com as I want to qualify to genius 3 level. Zhanna also said that it was my fault that the shower curtain was stinky. That was just above any comments. I said that breakfast was not enough as the day before their own breakfast was ok. I said that curtain was stinky as I'm my previous stay the shower curtain was OK. I understand that things happen. But I felt as i was staying there free of charge. But I paid.

No drinking water in the room available, insufficient sound insulation in the corridor - could hear my neighbours going in and out. but overall, a very nice place to stay.
