This is a former Mariotte hotel, so it still provides for a good quality service. Check in was fast, staff is very responsive and eager to help. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, very good breakfasts with a large variety of hot and cold dishes. Theres also an option to order eggs of your choice. The pool is large enough to swim and rather deep, however the water was too cold to relax in it.
The views are splendid, ours was facing the opera theatre and the Shatyr shopping mall.
Overall impression is that the renovation is very much needed both in the main venues and rooms and in spa. Hammam was not working half of the time and when it was, it wasnt pleasant to be in. The Executive lounge should have more options rather than one type of cookies and occasional m&ms. Hot food is served once a day in the evening, actually was delicious.

It's in the center of Astana, very easy to get to. Also, the staff is very helpful. Room size was quite good as well.
The room seemed to be old and in need of a lot of maintenance. Especially the shower was unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The power outlets next to the bed were unusable because they were so old and dirty.

I messaged a couple of times trying to arrange airport transfer, no one replied. Service could be improved by a lot. The room was also a bit dusty
