Exceptional
Excellent location. It’s one of the monuments of Almaty and perfect stay location for visitors. Mr Zhanpolat from Hotel Front-office is very cooperative and provides full support. The newly renovated suite rooms are great with nice AC temperatures. Worth mentioning that I extended my stay from 1 night to 3 nights due to newly renovated rooms views and the outstanding cooperation received from Mr Zhanpolat.
Should have at least some additional facilities such as pool, sauna, Jacuzzi or Spa which is missing at the Hotel.

Master bedroom had no lock so no privacy ,staff were not very welcoming ,rooms were so stuffy no ventilation in the bathroom I mean exhaust would have been nice,

The location
We book room and when we arrive it was totally different than the picture the furniture was old and and the room card not working every day we have to go to the reception two or three times to activate the card and the service wasn’t good and the a/c not working and the lights suddenly closed.. I’m very disappointed we thought it’s a good hotel

Everything was clean well booked together and overall pleasant to see. The location was perfecto!
Room service could’ve been better when it came to cleaning the room day one was fine but day two they really didn’t do anything other than just make the bed. They did not restock on water and toiletries.

Its location is very accessible to public transport, shops and cafes. The hotel itself has really good restaurants. Breakfast buffet food choices were also pretty decent, always delightfully refilled..
Lobby renovation was on going when we came so guests had to gather in a tight back side entrance that was temporarily converted as reception while construction was on going. It’s a really good hotel with so much history and we’re sad that we missed the reopening of its lobby area by only a day after we flew out of Almaty.

Hotel was is in ideal location. But little expensive and room had pungent smell in floor 2312 and reception staff was not that friendly. Room telephone not all working. very bad experience. Over all good location , room cleanliness needs to improve and also telephone service.we had booked 3 suites for 3 families in Dec 2025 from UAE.

Excellent location. Staff are very good and supportive. Special thanks to Nur Khan & Mehraan at the reception. Rooms are good size and clean.

The location is perfect. Accessible to supermarkets, 24/7 restaurants & parks.
Rooms are clean, quite old but well maintained.
The hotel staffs were all very supportive.
A bit pricey compared to other hotels but considering how great the location is, it is justifiable.

Antisanitary in breakfast area, where a Turkish staff placed coffee cups for use by guests holding all of them from inside with his dirty hands.
