Rooms are tiny with no space to unpack or store luggage, Beds were very firm/uncomfortable, there was no place to relax with our friends who were staying in another room and rooms were too small to gather in.

The room was "cozy," a tiny suite with a queen-size bed that barely fit, and a confusing lighting system. Rather like deluxe accommodations in a submarine - nice but compact. Staff was great, gym was great,
We had a south view that was uninteresting. That part of Seoul is awash in tall buildings, and only a lucky few get nice views. But proximity to the various museums and palace grounds, blue house, Insadong, etc., great. Food in the lounge was ok.

Upon arrival, everything seemed fine. The check-in process was smooth, and I was optimistic about my stay. However, that optimism quickly faded when I woke up one morning to find my bathroom completely flooded. My toiletries and bath towels were soaked! While the staff apologized and asked to move me to another room, they didn't offer any explanation for the flooding issue. To make up for the inconvenience, I received a bottle of wine, which was a nice gesture, but it didn’t fully compensate for the hassle.
On my second night, things took a turn for the worse. Despite being exhausted from a full day of touring, I couldn’t sleep at all. The room had a strange, eerie vibe, and I genuinely felt an unsettling presence, something I’ve never experienced in all my travels.
As if that wasn't enough, I felt the same eerie sensation on my third night. It became so overwhelming that I had to change hotels in the middle of the night. Thankfully, there was another hotel nearby that had availability.
The cleanliness of the hotel was also concerning. The carpet in my room had a musty smell and clearly needed a deep clean—vacuuming wasn't enough. It made me sneeze throughout my stay, which contributed to the overall discomfort.
While I travel frequently and have stayed at numerous hotels, I can confidently say that this experience was one of the worst. The combination of flooding, strange feelings at night, and cleanliness issues made it impossible to enjoy my stay. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The location is great. I didn't hear any noise from the next room and the bed was very comfortable. I usually can't sleep with different beds and pillows, but I slept well.
The breakfast and coffee were very good as well.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. We absolutely love the location, and it is next to the City Hall station. As soon as you enter the lobby, you are greeted with such a great ambience and friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. Myeongdong and Euljiro are walkable especially if you utilise the underground. Warning though, if you are a shopaholic, then get your money and shopping bags ready as there is a myriad of underground shops to see. Fancy visiting some of Seoul's gorgeous palaces, Deoksugung and Gyeongbokgung are both walking distance from the hotel. There are lots of restaurants and cafes to eat at, you won't be short of choices. We definitely recommend this hotel to stay at if you want to be centrally located in Seoul.

The hotel was well situated right next to city hall subway - which you could also walk easily to myeongdong underground.
The staff were great and very helpful, our room was a great size and really lovely. Nothing was too much trouble.
