Very Good
The great thing about Sophia Hanok is, it’s just right at one end of Bukchon just along Bukchon-gil. Location-wise, it was perfect. really a easy short walk to the main road and the nearest Anguk subway station, and also a short stroll to Insadong. it was very easy to explore the whole of Bukchon from Sophia guesthouse. located right inside a small alley it really has the authentic feel of a Hanok. The ondol (heated floor) was really nice and warm and that made our stay during winter wonderful. The daily breakfast served by Mr Lee was again very authentic and very nice.. and they made an effort to serve us different breakfast for the three different days that we were there! Very good! Mr Lee was very good in giving us a bigger room free - and he even got our heater fixed very quickly. good job.
strictly had to check out at 10am. we would have loved to check out say, maybe one hour later at 11am… or maybe even a little later. but I guess no choice. that is their policy which we will respect.
