Lovely serene location, and the hosts make an unbelievable effort to make you as comfortable as possible. They even drove us to several local activities, as we didnt have a car ourselves.

The owner is one of the kindest and most generous people that we have ever come across. He went out of his way to tell us about the area and was truly a gentleman. The location is stunning and very well run! Great value for money and in a very pretty part of South Korea. We highly recommend this place

Very friendly and helpful host. Close by to a stunning mountain with hikes and a lovely village with great restaurant options, including Honam.

The location of the accommodation was perfect, as it was not far from Vivaldi Park. Also, the host picked us up anytime on our way to Vivaldi. They do have a ski rental shop that gives discounts and pick-up service to the guests of this accommodation. They have a place for BBQ and a view point on the side of the accommodation, which was amazing.

Friendly hosts and very helpful with coordination of stay. Helped us arrange transport back to Seoul. Sent us to the nearby supermarket to get foodstuff. BBQ facility was a bonus and added to the joy of staying in Heidi. Facilities are basic but comfortable.

The Host John and his wife was fantastic! They helped shuttle all the guests to the Vivaldi Ski Resort and to the restaurant for meal time. The is a communal dinning area which guests could gather to make our own family BBQ (with a fee) with what you may buy from the local grocery store. It was nice to meet other guests and John was always there to ensure that his guests were comfortable.

We headed to Heidi for a night stay after 2 days of snow activities at Vivaldi Park . It was very nice of Mr Lee to pick us from our Vivaldi Park accommodation to Heidi. However, due to the extreme snowfall on that particular day, the typical 20 min to-and-fro drive became 3 hours in total for Mr Lee but he was patient and at all smiles throughout. Mr Lee also sent us to a nearby supermarket later in the day to buy some food for our BBQ. Heidi itself is a lodge-like accommodation which provided urbanites like us a whole different experience . The room was clean, spacious, warmly heated with a little kitchenette. We especially enjoyed the warm hospitality of the owners (Mr and Mrs Lee), the BBQ over brick-stove and charcoal as well as having our meals in the naturally firewood heated dining place . Thank you for sharing with us your lovely homemade Kimchi and drinks , roasted sweet potatoes, tangerine , etc. Got acquainted with a friendly couple from HK too! Happy New Year and we hope to be back to Heidi again !

Great place to stay if you want to be closer to nature. Beautiful houses and great mountains view. John and his wife are great hosts.

The host personally arranged an airport transfer for our family. It is a very nice and cosy environment as we are able to mingle with other families and get to know other guests. Mr John did his very best to accommodate to every request our family needed. He went the extra mile and we had fun bbq-ing in the winter. Very nice experience for kids who are used to city life.

Mr Lee and wife are super friendly , and their dog Chu Rong was cute , the room are spacious and warm cozy cottage and the view and environment are good ,y kids love the infront of the cottage and we love the camp fire at the night will recommend friends to Heidi K Haus

I like the scenery at the place. Its so beautiful. Furthermore, it is near to attractions like nami island, alpaca world, legoland and vivaldi park. Mr. John and his wife are nice person and although i have some language barrier, they try their best to understand our needs. Their friendliness and hospitality are world class service.

The room is clean and big, also theres heat under the floor so the whole room is warm and comfortable in winter time. There is a kitchen inside the room, so you can cook by yourself. The overall experience about the room is nice and comfortable even during freezing winter time. If youre foreigner who doesnt have car and doesnt know how to speak Korean like me, dont worry about it! The host is nice and friendly. He helped me with the transportation between ski resorts, ski rental shop and Heidi. He also recommended me the ski rentals shop and the shuttle bus between Seoul and Vivaldi ski resort. He speaks English so dont worry about the communication.

Our hosts Mr and Mrs Lee are friendly and hospitable. They are also very accomodating to our requests. We love their home; very clean and cozy. Definitely one of our highlight for our trip for our first time in Korea.

Room and facilities are really clean e.g. fresh smelling beds and pillows, with a clean toilet with good flushing system. Over and above the beautiful surroundings and scenaries that Heidi has offered, they also had their own hill top that offered a superb viewpoint off the nearby mountains river! They have a cosy reception room that has a fire place which we enjoyed toasting marshmallows and has conversations with other guests! The place also allow you to buy your own ingredients to do bbq either inside or outside. We did not do our own bbq due to lack of time. He went the extra mile for us by driving and picking us up to nearby destinations and good food. Not just that but also helped us booked a bus from Vivaldi going to Seoul. All of these extra mile services were at no charge.

Very homely feeling. Host John conversant in English and very friendly. Host help us get ride to supermarket to buy BBQ food and snacks.

We stayed four nights, with day trips to the Gangchon Rail Park, Alpaca World, and Nami Island. This place was recommended by friends and I'm so glad we decided to stay here. John and his wife were really kind and took very good care of us. Rooms were clean and neat. Hot water flowed freely during bathtime and we drank cold water straight from the tap. For the most part, we felt like we were visiting grandparents who kept feeding us. We skipped the Vivaldi Ski Park only to discover Pallbong-san was closed for the winter, but John got us four gimbap, brought us to a nearby service road up a small peak, and sent us on a short hike (that incline!). We still got to muck around in the mud and leaves on the way up. Our sons (9 and 7) enjoyed the outdoors, helping John build campfires, playing with his wife's dog, and generally just running around the property screeching like banshees and dipping into John's store of firewood and kindling as he looked on indulgently (city kids don't get campfires much). The charcoal barbecue most reviews mention was a highlight, as was (for me anyway!!) cooking kimchi ramyeon with actual kimchi in a pot on a stove in a proper pension in the Korean countryside. I saved the receipt from our trip to the mart to buy ingredients too, it's going into my journal. Thank you John and Mrs Lee for your hospitality, we will not forget it. p/s For runners, there's a short out and back - just follow the pavement that starts at one of the roads in front of the property (the road after the tunnel, you'll see when you get there) to the end. A round trip took us about 40+ minutes? We called it 6plus-7km. A pleasant enough route.
