The hotel is trying to be as sustainable as possible. They use solar panels to electrify the rooms, they provide drinking water for a free refill, the cutlery and plates are all reusable and not plastic. Additionally, the hotel provides snorkeling masks free of charge. Kudos for trying to be environmentally friendly!

Beautiful views, especially at sunset. Crystal clear water and golden-white sand beach, very private and tons of hammocks + beach chairs. Food on site is also great!
Rustic bathrooms, no air conditioning (although there is a fan in each tent)

The location is beautiful right on the beach. The bed was comfortable. We are very active people so the hike to get there was enjoyable, but i wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like hiking/ walking, especially with heavy bags on your shoulders. There is also a lot of hungry mosquitoes in the jungle so be well prepared for that.
The food is pricey for the amount you get, so we preferred to eat at other places instead. I ordered coffee one morning and it didn’t taste anything like coffee.

Wonderful
The place has to be assessed in the context of what it offers - a tent in a secluded beach, so the facilities are rather limited. The whole beach is a magical, quiet, chill-out area to relax. The tents are spacious and comfortable. The staff was nice (it is a French owned and run place). The water was very calm as this part of the year the wind is from the other side.
The restaurant area lacks a bit of ambience and the food is nothing special. Things to keep in mind, which are not really negative, because they give the place special character: To get somewhere else you need to take a steep path up and then walk on newly constructed roads.

Everything about Sleeping Trees exceeded my expectations. The restaurant had either delicious pizza or tasty BBQ each night. Falling asleep in the tent to the sound of the waves could not have been more peaceful. I only wish that I could have spent more time there.
Nothing!

The beach is beautiful. It was very quiet which is exactly what we wanted. On the beach the it felt airy and pleasant. The staff were polite and helpful.
The activities nearby are great - bioluminescent plankton was an exceptional experience.
The bungalows are set slightly back (can still see the beach) and there it is still, humid and airless and with only a small solar battery fan it is not comfortable to sleep.
Cleaning and decor is a bit tired.
Quite a lot of plastic rubbish washed up on the beach. Prices for food etc on the island are a lot higher than elsewhere.
Mosquitoes and cockroaches are about.

Amazing beachside location. Great food at the restaurant. Slightly higher prices but that's expected at a tourist spot on an island. Free water refill station was much appreciated
Rooms were quite hot, even at night

The Sleeping Trees is the perfect option if you want to relax, book the tent if you want your own little private beach. We loved the food, the pizza and the barbeque nights, and the crepes! The terrace, the bungalows, everything looks very good and staff is very friendly and helpful!

The most amazing location on sunset beach! So happy we found this place.
We stayed in one of the teepees right by the sea and it was incredible waking up to those views.
Nothing! Just bring ear plugs if you have a teepee right on the front!

We had a tent right on the beach, which was really amazing. The price is a bit steep but definitely worth it.
The food was okay we liked the other places on the beach better ;)

Fantastic location!! Very affordable for the experience and lovely staff.
Hot bunk bed rooms even with portable fans, would be great to have some more mosquito proofing in the rooms (the mesh above the door was fully caved in on our room so all bugs got in) - sadly we were bitten to death even with the net

True paradise on earth. Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful and relaxing location and facilities. The staff always available to help but totally hands off and really allow you to feel at home. Food was really good, little more expensive than the mainland but for the location very understandable and absolutely good value for the price. The water is beautiful and the snorkeling off the north and south and of the beach is wonderful (especially the north end).

The tent is very big and has a comfortable big bed. The view of the ocean is incredible! I liked the portable fan available every night. The pool table was fun. Overall, it was a good experience.
The food wasn't that good for the price... too expensive for low quality ingredients. And at night it was a bit loud with some boats passing by...

The location is fantastic, this side of the beach is much nicer than Saracen bay. The walk in the jungle is worth the difficulty. The food was great. All together a very relaxing place to enjoy the sea

Had an issue with the room and the guys were very proactive in resolving despite the late hour. Place is very chilled with loads of spots to relax in the day by the beach and good quality food from restaurant. Would stay again

Sleeping Tree is an excellent place on sunset beach, the tents right next on the beach are gorgeous. the matress in the tent was impeccable, the tent itself ample. It is maybe the best place on the whole beach, the area is spacious, rather quiet and with a nice covered restaurant, a pool table and clean, hot showers.
we were not too excited about the french staff, which did their job more like a duty than a pleasure. We also found that other food options on the beach were better.
