The location was great, right across the road from the beach. The staff were very helpful, arranging a boat trip and adding an extra person to my booking. Breakfast was basic but filling.
Guests from the hotel behind used this hotel as a walk-through to get to the beach and this made it quite noisy and busy at times.

Opposite the beach
The breakfast was not enough choice wanted cereals and had to ask you had to pay extra for omelette fried or scrambled eggs mostly Asian food no yogurts. The sky bar was advertised to use and eat but was closed the whole of the 6 days. When we checked into our room. Toilet seat broke sink plug broke and hairdryer broke. The room was a good size but needs some updating in the bathroom. The restaurant near the bungalow was closed one night because they were having a party on the beach for guests there was no notice put up so had to go out to eat.

Staff was very helpful, and one went out of his way to look for something I requested but was not found nearby. Food was good. Breakfast could have been better
Wasn’t so happy that the entry to room was a patio door and having to keep curtains closed for privacy. I like to have natural light in the room.

Super clean. Attentive staff. Maintenance and priority cleaning was continuous. Super close to beach. Great pool. Restaurant menu was good and well prepared
The GM was not responsive or friendly to guests. Did not introduce himself or attempt to problem solve when front desk staff just a few meters away were struggling with customer questions and request’s…we asked for 2 extra pillows and THE GM attempted to charge us $10 per pillow! Otres’s Beach was one of my favorite places for years. But unfortunately the overdevelopment along the northern stretches have ruined the charm. Sad.

Hotel very very noisy. All khmer guest do lot of noise at the swimming pull at any time. early morning (6 am) until late night. Karaoke on front beach every nights. and an along the beach. breakfast start to late at 7:30am and some days buffet some days no.

Beds are comfy, room is clean, spacious enough. Pool is nice to chill in and around duringt he hot day. Food is fine, many local options. Prices are good, happy hour is 3-5 pm (tye clock in the restaurant is wrong, check the time with stuff properly).
I used to visit this hotel for a few years, same as many other travellers from other countries, always being welcomed, but recently, the hotel owner decided to turn to local (Khmer) customers much more than foreigners, which means that you will be woken up by people talking on heir phones at 6 am outside their bungalows, packing their stuff loudly, getting ready for breakfast. Kids will be shouting in the pool at around 7 am. The restaurant now serves local soups and instant noodle at an ugly metal counter which spoils the view. The receptionist we had didn't speak decent English, which caused some difficulties during check in.

Room was well equipped and very comfortable. Pool looked great and I saw a family having fun together. Restaurant had good selection of local and western meals. Food was delicious and nicely presented. It was great for a good sleep before a long flight home!
