Disappointing
The property is well designed, landscaped, and the rooms well equipped.
The location of Otres Beach is far, far less appealing than it was prior to 2020. The international ambiance was destroyed by demolition and redevelopment. Lack of WiFi coverage in our two rooms, absence of TVs in the rooms, non-availability of Western options for breakfast, lack of a bartender for cocktails.

Very Poor
There was a pool boy who pointed us to a direction with cleaner beaches.
Stay far from this side of town in general, if you’re coming for a beach vacation this is not a place to be. The beach on this side of town is totally trashed, the worst I’ve seen in my life. There was also trash in the room and in the hotel pool, stuff was not helpful at all. Do yourself a favor and don’t book this.

We enjoyed the villa pool, room was larger than expected, clean & comfortable bed.
Only down side was the mosquitos....need repellent. However, it is rainy season so mosquitos were expected to be around.

I live in a remote room with a private pool, the pool was cleaned very rarely, there was practically no internet, the wi-fi router did not work. Television did not work at all.

The rooms were spacious and comfy beds. The shower was powerful. Bathrobes and toiletries were supplied. AC was good.
The pool area was full of broken furniture and dirty. There wasnt enough places to sit for the 4 couples that were there. Old food plates, drinks and towels could lay around for days. We had the executive room with pool but it's on a corner so too noisy to sit there and traffic is all day and night. I never saw anyone clean our pool or the main one ever and they were full of leaves. Sometimes they would leave sprinklers on and the muddy water would run into the pool. Breakfast was a buffet for 5 of the 8 days we were there and it wasn't great..ran out of croissant, fruit, fruit juice toast, no butter, had to ask them to make coffee as the pot was empty. We often went and bought drinks outside as you could never find staff to order one. Far too expensive for what we got. Our booking said we would get a complimentary fruit basket but no one knew what we were talking about and we never got it. Otres beach is dirty and there is little there but lots of half built buildings...would not recommend.

Cocktails are really cool!! The team is really nice and helpfull!
Almost all the facilities are old, damaged and dirty. It feels like the hotel is 30 years old and no renovations have been done since. The pool and sun loungers are dirty and it doesn't make you want to swim. Around the hotel there is not much to do, almost no restaurants and no bars.
