The staff, the convenience of have scooters to rent there, big rooms, great price, quiet. You are treated like family. This is our 3rd time to stay here.
The hill can be a bit of a long walk with luggage. Pay to have a porter bring up your bags

The staff were extremely friendly and it was just a short walk to many restaurants and beaches. There was a lovely porch and hammock on the second floor common area which was perfect to relax amd stay out of the mid-day sun. I am planning on staying here next year when I'm back in Koh Rong.
The bum gun didn't have much water pressure leaked a bit from the hose at the wall connection.

it's right in the village, a little bit up the hill, only couple of mins to the beach, a very nice, comfortable place all made of wood. The host is extremely nice and friendly, he is the energy of the place =) the only thing it would be really nice to have more lights in the room, it's pretty dark both in the room and bathroom. would be also nice to have a soap which I forgot to buy a few days in a row because it's very unusual not to have soap in the room!

The value is great. We stayed for 4nights and with the price it comes with private bathroom, towels and the location is just above koh touch village. Easy to access to anywhere. The owner is a nice Christian man, very helpful and very friendly.
Since the house is made of wood, we hear every footstep, every items drop, every door slam and the conversation of the person next door. The wifi is awful, no phone service too. We had to sit outside to get some tiny bit of working Wifi. The last night we stayed, a couple who stayed next doors, they had a mini party in the patio until 1am even the sign said “No Loud Noise from 10pm”. They’re drunk, smoke weed, shout, argue. Then at 1:30am, they came back in their room and slam the door then had s*x for 20mn loudly. So we took a sleeping pill to sleep it off at 2am ish.

For the price its excellent, staff were nice, just 2 min walking to the main pier and beach in the area. the room was spacious and even only with fans it wasn't never really hot, there was wifi but basically non existing as it was really slow, but this is normal in the whole island so I know it's not their fault but if you have data that works great.
I know this is not their fault but of course if the whole guesthouse is made out of wood you hear everything from your neighbors and the slam of the doors

great value and the staff are kind.clean room.
we had to take our shoes off and leave them downstairs. a dog stole one of my hiking boots and they didn't seem to care. I tried to extend and had to wait hours due to language barrier(which is okay but a little difficult when needing to make plans in a timely manner)

The staff was tremendously helpful and kind. They oriented me on what I needed to know around the island which is a little tricky. They were warm and welcoming.
This place is nice but it's rustic, spartan. A guesthouse, not a hotel. So there isn't the privacy or amenities of a real hotel. It's more backpacker lodge which is fine if you're okay with that.

Was a big room with two queen beds. We got two towels and the room had two fans. Was great for the value but the door didn’t close in the bathroom and the sink had a leak. Rented a scooter for $8 tho, overall good for the price you pay.
