The view so nice and the owner was kind and friendly.
The stuff use some word that impolite to talk behind about the customer.

⭐️ 1/5 — Misleading, Unsafe, and Deeply Disappointing
This place was an absolute shock and completely misrepresented.
I arrived at Coconut Beach Hotel expecting a peaceful island stay, only to walk straight into what felt like an active construction zone. There was exposed rebar everywhere, bags of cement and gravel scattered around, and I literally had to step over construction materials just to reach my room. This was not disclosed at all prior to arrival.
The person who I assume is the owner—gave zero orientation. No Wi-Fi password, no explanation of where bathrooms were, no information about the property. Nothing.
The room itself was shocking. It felt like a prison cell. There was no natural light at all, completely dark and enclosed, cold and depressing. The ceiling is someone’s floor and whenever they walk you can hear the floor boards banging against each other. I came to a tropical island to relax and instead felt genuinely distressed and uncomfortable. It was the opposite of a holiday experience.
There are bags of trash and furniture piled in the dining area and it is unsafe to navigate.
I paid for the room less than an hour before seeing it, and once I realized the situation, I immediately asked for a refund. The owner refused a full refund and would only offer 50%, claiming it was “policy.” This is unacceptable given that:
• The property was not transparent about being under construction
• The grounds are unsafe and trashy
• There were eating utensils and pots all over the ground
• There was no empathy or accountability whatsoever
Policies do not excuse misleading guests or withholding critical information.
This place should not be taking bookings in its current state. Until construction is complete and guests are clearly informed, I strongly advise travelers to stay elsewhere.
Very disappointing experience.
There is no beach front there. Many of the guests I saw left the accommodation to go down to Nice Beach to enjoy the beach and food.

It's my happy place. The new restaurant is fully under construction so we couldn't eat there, but it's going to be amazing when it's finished. The family are great, it was just disappointing not to be able to do the sky lanterns or sea the plankton because of the wind, but we still really enjoyed our stay.
Just all the construction, but it's all for the greater good, and it will be worth the inconvenience caused for now.

The bed
The way to keep business running is to care of who bring you money. Your customers. The service was not good running by owner. Care your guests then they will bring you more and more money. The atmosphere was not clean, before renting the bike pls check your bike carefully to avoid broken along the way.

You get what you pay for! The location was absolutely amazing. We booked the bungalow with sea view and it’s like a postcard sitting on your veranda….stunning! It’s basic but worth it!

The houses were beautiful and the location was great. Right at the beach and view on the ocean. Houses were simple but everything you need. Staff was not very welcoming and could have been friendlier. However, had a great stay.

It's on the beach.
Most of the tents got completely wet by the rain, they are not good quality at all. Included the first and the other three optional tents that were assigned to me, couldn't get closed to avoid the rain to enter in.

We had booked a tent bungalow. When we arrive they give us just a tent on the ground without mattress. No problem, we talked to them and the mattress was just a miss. But we paid for bungalow and not a tent. Later we got upgraded to what we paid for.
Then, because they are overbooked they are putting more tents on the beach and some other people got to stay on the ground for the same price.
Staff was OK, just not very trusting to their guests.

The worst place I've ever been. It was so bad that I left that place. Can't even stay 1day.
Staff don't care if you stay or not, very very ignorant.
The tents have big holes in them. Torn, zip doesn't work so you can't close them as well.
Too many mosquitoes. I was there for only 5 mins and I had 8 marks on my body.
It was a really pathetic place to stay. Worst bathroom.
No electricity in the tent. The beach front tents are destroyed easily when it's raining. Upper tents are lots of steps up. Very very very bad staff. Please don't go there just to save your money. You will get plenty of places in the same amount.
Don't think you will get wind coz you are on the beach front, it's the biggest misconception I had.

Amazing location on a beautiful white sand beach! No traffic close by, only this place and 4 more resorts. Good smoothies and decent meals for a reasonable price.
The toilets were not always flushing, seemed they would be cleaned maximum once per day with limited toilet paper. The owner seemed ‘money hungry’ with his attitude towards any service offered. They also throw food waste around the kitchen so it may look disgusting when noticed.

Wonderful
The view is absolutely stunning. I liked how their towels smelled. I liked having a bungalow with a veranda to sit in. They have affordable restaurant and a little shop with essentials. They also have a nice communal terrace, fireplace and deck chairs by the sea. Bungalows are nice but very basic.
They said they would pick us up from the pier - but they didn't say that they go just to one pier just thrice per day, so we had to pay extra 10$ for a tuktuk. They also don't accept cards, so you need to have exact amount of money with you. It made us eat in other restaurants in the beach (that accept cards), because we didn't want to run out of cash. The terrace is nice, but the furniture is awful - tables are so low that its impossible to sit with your legs under the table - you need to sit sideways. Other tables force you to sit in a really uncomfortable position. Light in the bungalow was very poor.

The beach was amazing to be honest and it's good value for money. We checked other beaches but coconut beach was the best!
The private room was not maintained and really very hot during day and night. The bathroom was shit. I found a frog and a snake there and no one cares about cleaning it. One of the family member was staying next to our room and he wake up every day 5 am and playing music and/or calling friends very loudly!. So if you want to go there never choose room number 9 ?

The room is comfortable, electricity works and there is a fan in the room. You're close to the beach and the owners are very helpful, happy to suggest activities and to sort out your transport to go back to the pier. They are also quite fast to answer on both booking and WhatsApp if you have a question. The beach is absolutely beautiful, it's a really good location.
The shared bathrooms are often dirty, not cleaned enough often enough and quite old, still decent to shower but changing some pipes and lightbulbs, fixing some locks would be good. Still overall very good price for the area.
Just remember that you pay everything in cash and there is no ATM on the island, you can't pay by card at the guesthouse either.
