Truly a gem. The staff really is amazing. The beach is gorgeous, the water is perfect. I packed my own food for most of the trip and the staff helped me have fun with it! Perfect experience, I will return!

I had a great time at Soksan with my family. It was quiet and clean and surrounded by nature. The food at the restaurant was great and we had breakfast every day overlooking the beautiful white sand beach. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We would love to stay here again.

The beach was exceptional and the view from my room was out there. White sands and very few people compared to other places in the Island.
Rooms are like a shack feel very very basic. So if you are expecting 5 start don't come here. I was fine with the room.

Really nice beach, really good for people who want to relax, gorgeous sunsets, the room was very big and clean, the staff were really nice
No WiFi or internet connection, but it’s good if you don’t want to be on your phone
Also, there’s WiFi at the restaurant of the guesthouse if you do need something

This is a beautiful beach with not much on it. This hotel is off on its own next to only one other resort then it's about a 30 min walk down the beach to Soksan beach. If you just want to chill at a white sand beach with a sunset view, this is a great place. The rooms have AC and hit water and are overall comfortable. The guy who works the reception and restaurant is extremely nice and helpful, organising anything you want immediately. They also put out mosquito coils at night and I didn't get many mosquito bites here compared to other places in Cambodia.
I didn't have a motorbike or any way to get around, so didn't want to spend a fortune going anywhere else. Since there is not too much around, it would be better to rent a motorbike.
The restaurant/reception area is very basic, just a cement slab with a roof. Some of the food also seemed a bit expensive for what it was. Everything has to be paid in cash, no credit card accepted.

The location is quiet and peaceful, food is good value. This is the best location on the island for the sunset.
Rooms were dirty, our room was sold as a beach bungalow, it was an apartment, well away from the beach with limited views of the water. The sand flies are next level. While I understand insects in the tropics, currently the management are preparing for more development by removing sand dunes, this disturbance of the ground is creating massive issues with sand flies. Covering up and spraying didn't help, weeks afterwards we are still covered in welts.

The bed blanket can use a cover. The window frames and doors can be sealed to have less geckos indoor.

This place was STUNNING. absolutely must stay here if you want a beautiful basically private beach.we arrived in a huge thunder and rain storm and the staff were quite helpful with getting us to our rooms.
The rooms themselves are facing this breathtaking, picturesque beach. When we were there (beginning of May) there was hardly any one there so we practically had the beach to ourselves.
The restaurant is nice . But this is the place to go if you're wanting to get away from it all and relax.
Although the location was perfect. The room itself could have been better. We had a few issues in the bathroom and there were no little knick knacks that I appreciate in a room such as kettle, mini fridge, shampoo, shower gel etc... but really with the view we had it was easy enough to look past.

Staff were amazing, so helpful and very friendly. The location was fantastic, right on the beach, with gorgeous views. It is more on the remote side, no shops/restaurants as the hotel is in the middle of a very long beach, but this makes it nice and quiet and perfect for relaxing. Food was really good too, we saw several reviews complain about it but we were pleasantly surprised. Good portions, cooked fresh, and much cheaper than next door. The staff organised onwards transport for us too, very useful.
My only point is that I wish there were coconuts available and maybe a few other/different alcoholic drinks.

The location is a bit far from the busy areas, so we recommend renting a scooter! The beach is beautiful and quiet, and the restaurant is quite good (but there is an even better one next door).
The closest supermarket is a 30 minute walk, and the room did not have air conditioning but it was okay with the fan.
They almost gave my backpack away to another traveller who did not pay attention, luckily i saw and they took it out of the tuktuk. So be careful of that ?

Soksan Is the best beach in the Island. Perfect for the sunset. The resort are beautiful. The staff Is so kindly. The guy at the reception (Long) speack english very good and will help you.

The beach was great, but then again how could anyone screw up sand?
The food at the hotel was way over priced. Example - Not so good spaghetti only had what appeared to be small specks of tomato mixed into the dish. We were charge $8.00 for this.They can keep it. We will not book this resort again.
