My family and I spent a relaxing week at Koulen Hotel. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants, including a 12-minute walk to pub street. Our suite was spacious, clean and well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay and helped us arrange tours, massages, and tuk tuks when needed. (Special thanks to Dika and the rest of the front desk team for their help throughout the week!) The breakfasts and ordered food was good, and we spent a few hours each day by the pool sipping the delicious signature cocktails and mocktails.
Our suite faced the street, which can be a bit noisy at times. We slept soundly, so it did not bother us. However, light sleepers may want to ask for a room facing the pool and courtyard.

This is a boutique hotel. Very nice and helpful staff and smiling all the time. The location is excellent. Very clean. There is a shopping mall just two minutes walking. At night there is another near-by clean and organized night market for handmade crafts. The hotel’s restaurant prepare, cook and deliver very tasty food. Try the mixed ginger and pumpkin soup. The best.

Dikas and Lin were excellent during my time at the Koulen hotel. This is a fantastic hotel. It has a gym, full spa, gorgeous pool, restaurant with very flavorful dishes and the pool bar and room service was all so convenient after long days of touring the temples. Breakfast was unbelievable, so many options Khmer dishes and western breakfast dishes. There's a noodle soup making station and omelet station and endless options. I was so impressed. Hotel staff were very kind, respectful, accommodating and helpful. The neighborhood location is very quiet, gardens, pool, balcony and rooms are all very relaxing. Definitely worth requesting a pool view. Very tranquil. It must be the location, somehow in most of the tours I took, I was the last to be picked up and first to be dropped off which really does help you get more rest. I highly recommend this hotel. It had everything i needed, including laundry service.

Spacious rooms, bathroomsl and living room. Location was nice. Staff were very attentive. The scale in the room made it possible for us to pack the baggage with the correct weight. Balcony was huge and the pool view was nice. Banana chips were complimentary and yummy.
Handheld shower was broken. Hallways were dark for my 85 year old Mom. Both pillows were too high. I wish one was less stuffed so we can pick and choose.

Convenient, clean, spacious, staff are friendly and proficient in English. Cooking class was excellent. We loved the local market tour and the menu we learned. They even accommodated our special menu requests.
The room came with a kitchenette, but it did not have pots and pans. I’m sure if I had asked housekeeping for some, they would provide. In any case we didn’t really have to do any cooking.
