The staff are very nice and helpful. They helped us a lot also to book the next bus. To get to the village you need to pay 20$ which includes a boat tour.
The place is super clean. There are the usual bugs that come with nature and they didn’t let me kill a cockroach but the experience made me more resilient :)
As most reviews already suggest the boats are noisy but to be fair I didn’t even notice much.

Certainly an authentic experience right in the middle of it all. Good food and drink available.
Noisy. Not the homestays fault but a 2 day wedding with loudspeaker in village made walls reverberate! Also huge thunderstorm, so power cut. Gutter inside overflowed and our neighbours got soaked. Exceptional circumstances however and all sorted out with candles/new bed etc.
Even if no wedding, boats noisy. Part of atmosphere but need earplugs!

Nice view. Very clean an cosy. Well maintained. Friendly Staff.
It isn't a homestay. More like a hostel. You don't have an own room and the beds are just separated by a curtain. Food is expensive (5$ per meal) and not really good.

Perfect place. Spotless clean, amazing location, excellent food. The best way to visit Kampong Khlean, that is much more than a collection of floating houses. A place full of life where it is worth spending at least one night. No better place to do it than this home stay

This is a fantastic chance to experience life in one of the stilted villages on the lake but without staying in the squalor usual in those villages. This homestay is exceptionally clean, delicious food and charming helpful staff
Other people have commented on noise which is inevitable if you want to stay in these villages . Bring earplugs if it bothers you as it is quite loud from other houses, the boat engines and the temple on the opposite bank of the river (they were installing a new Buddha)

It was a fantastic stay in the floating village, you get to see the real Cambodia, the staff were very friendly and always wanted to help. Really enjoyed the fried fish.
The boats did set off early in the morning, which was a bit loud, so may need earplugs.
