The premises are really very beautiful and you have the impression living in a tropical garden ! That gives it really a very special touch !
The breakfast staff was not attentive at all - after ordering a coffee it exactly 15 minutes before it was served - another 10 min before I got milk ! The breakfast itself is rather mediocre ! The internet was not working most of my stay until I was given a separate modem ! Maintenance in front of my room - constant hammering and pounding without any prewarning- it was quite an aggravating experience!

We loved every single second of our stay in Angkor Village Hotel. One of the best experiences we ever had by far, starting from the welcome and the assistance during our stay which was impeccable, warm and kind over any expectation. Rooms are comfy and relaxing and help you in recovering the tiredness from the Angkor wat temple tours (which of course I reccomend). I would mention also a great experience offered by the hotel which consisted in a dinner/show, a kind of typical theater show with Cambodian musician and dancers. Treat yourself with this experience, you will not regret it.
I would just point the nearness of the street over the room and the pool that, in daytime, brings you back to real life with traffic sounds
However, this is also an advantage if you want to hang out towards the city center cause is really close!

The staff were friendly and welcoming and always ready to help. The hotel was like a paradise hidden in lush gardens, an idyllic place to escape from the outside world, perfect to retreat to after a day exploring all that Siem Reap has to offer.

the hotel is great, the room is comfortable. The pool looks great but we couldn't go in because of the weather.

I loved the fact that the pool was just outside my room. I loved all the plants everywhere. The wellness menu was lovely. The restaurant had a beautiful location.
I paid for a massage that was supposed to be head and shoulders massage, but the masseur barely touched my head. I think she got the wrong information about what I paid for. I also paid for 90mins and she stopped at 60mins. When I told her it was 90mins, she went and checked and then came back to do some more....but the session was disrupted then and it wasn't that good. The other massages were good.

The property was incredible. The use of Cambodian design, wood and lush greenery made it an Oasis in the city hidden behind a beautiful red brick wall.
I was in a pool side suite, which was huge and had my favourite bathroom from my whole trip to Southeast Asia.
I was particularly excited about how eco friendly the hotel was without compromising on luxury - a huge plus and well above standard.
The spa is also excellent. I had a back massage which fixed my tuktuk and hiking related stiffness.
The menu is also great, with very prompt room service.
The staff are a league of their own. So kind and couldnt do enough for me. I was unwell on arrival and they arranged extra medicinal tea to my room.

This hotel is the perfect location, central but secluded within its beautiful lush grounds Staff are standout and make this a very relaxing stay We enjoyed the meals and the spa treatments, swimming in the pool and relaxing in the large room overlooking an amazing pond Combine with a private driver to see all the sights and you have a perfect holiday
