The breakfast was fine and the location was great.
We found out that if we had booked direct with the resort rather than through Booking.com it would have been nearly $100 a night less

Wonderful landscape, I like the green garden with a peaceful environment around the swimming pool.
the room is classic set up with sustainable concept, there is no TV in the room so all the guest could spend more time enjoy the quietness of mind.
the food was amazing by a Khmer Chef.

I spend a wonderful night at Knai Bang Chatt, the room was very comfortable, the staff is amazing and helpful.
The food at the Strand restaurant and the beach front restaurant called the Wave as absolutely good.
the Watersport was the right time from October.

As a regular guest at Knai Bang Chatt, I can confidently say I've been addicted to this paradise from the very first day. The moment you arrive, tranquility washes over you – breathtaking ocean and mountain views greet you alongside the warm smiles of the staff.
The room aren’t just a room; it's sanctuary. Imagine stepping onto that plush balcony overlooking the expanse of the ocean – a scene I never tire of. The sound of gentle waves lulls me into relaxation, and the comfortable bed ensures a perfect night's sleep. Every detail, from the luxurious linens to the locally-sourced welcome basket filled with exotic fruits, speaks volumes about the resort's commitment to guest comfort.

Knai Bang Chatt is the epitome of paradise in Kep - this is the best resort by far. The architecture is simply brilliant, rooms are very stylish & clean, infinity pool super inviting overlooking the sea, but most of all the staff are all so wonderful and make the stay well worth. Do also indulge in the beach’s discovery center for sailing & water sports activities, or chill with some classy sunset vibes at Kep West’s “The Wave” for drinks & dining!

We felt totally deceived about the location
The website photos implied a beach location in front of the hotel
The beach was 300 yards away as land had been reclaimed and not right in front of the hotel as represented on the images
The beach was a marrow miserably littered strip of sand without access to deckchairs mot that there would have been adequate space to sit
A modern huge cafe bar had been erected with a concrete deck large access road and car park

- Breakfast is not worthy of a hotel of this standing: very small portions, everything comes with bland cucumber salad, fruits on the buffet are at the mercy of flies, yogurt tastes expired
- Food portions are very inconsistent; guests shouldn't have to guess
- There are a lot of small things that aren't up to the standard that the price commands. They're small, but when you add them all up, it just makes you feel like not enough thinking goes behind making the hotel as comfortable as possible: wobbly room door knob, not enough drinking water in the room (they will give you more if you ask though), so-so mattress, electrical noise from the bedside lamp (which cannot be unplugged), poor wifi coverage, ineffective aircon.
- We went on the boat tour with lunch on an island; it was lovely, until we realized that the boat captain and the hotel staff accompanying us didn't have lunch. When we asked them, they said that that's just how it is: they eat a lot before going, go hungry during the trip, and eat only when back on shore. This made us feel guilty, so we decided to go back not too long after lunch so they could eat, even though there was plenty of day left which we would rather have spent enjoying the island.
