amazing hotel surrounded by nature, right on the river where we spent some time swimming, room was clean and very comfortable, housekeeping team was busy cleaning the beach and facilities all day. service was spectacular, the staff was very helpful and spoke perfect English (one staff spoke a bit of French too !).

The staff went above and beyond to please us, they even have a small welcome gift with free Kampot pepper ! The value for money was very good. It was amazing to have breakfast with this peaceful view. We enjoyed very much the free kayaks and it was easy to rent motorbikes from the reception. Thank you to the amazing Sabay Beach team !

They have really nice rooms and are pretty cheap for accomodation. The food and drinks were also really tasty but are a little on the expensive side for Kampot. The restaurant has a nice vibe with comfortable chairs and tables.
The beach wasn't as nice as I expected, so staying there wasn't too inviting. The hotel didn't warn us about upcoming construction starting at 8 AM. Finally, they may want to look at the music they played; the continuous drone of elevator music hurt the vibe of the place and pushed us to leave the hotel.

Lovely setting on the river to have a meal and drinks. Cute lodging. Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb food. Excellent cocktails. Went kayaking on the river...great fun.
Perhaps a bit of aircon in the bedroom, but not a big problem.

The staff were really friendly & helpful. The view from our riverfront room was amazing. The food was brilliant. The 8am yoga by the river was really good would have liked it every day!
It would have been good to have A/C in the room although, the staff did very kindly offer us an extra fan!

Great peaceful place to stay. The staff were so lovely and made my time here extra memorable. They all call you by your first name which is a special touch. Really relaxing and chilled, beautiful space, wonderful food and views, great place to relax and charge the batteries! I hidden little oasis.

I've lived in Asia over 17 years and since becoming a vegetarian, I've found cambodia not overly great for food. Sabay Beach blows my mind with every meal.... I would drive to kampot just for dinner
The view is also my jam.
So many bugs ans mosquitoes in the room.. would be good to have mossie coils or bug plugs so I didn't have to go to bed covered in spray

The location by the river, the amazing staff, the excellent and diverse food, the nature, the ratio quality-price.
Rooms are concentrated on a rather small plot. It is very easy to hear your neighbors, especially in the tree houses.

The tree house was something a bit different, and so comfy. The bathroom is massive, the day bed on the first floor a really nice spot to hang out, and the food at rhe restaurant was phenomenal.
I was there in April when it's quite hot (40+) and the no aircon was tough! But I just kept going for a swim in the river to cool down, so it was still a great stay!

If you are looking for a quiet, laid-back and secluded place for a perfect riverfront stay - look no further:) The atmosphere of the place is truly unique.
It's not close to town so you have to be sure what you are up for as the ride is long.
The staff is super helpful. The food and cocktails surprised me... one of the best resto in Cambodia (those scallops...).
And many thanks for sharing your coctail recipe with me :)))
I will definitely come back one day.
Small renovation of terrace in riverfront house would be nice:)

The food and drink at Sabay Beach were exceptional and were some of the best cocktails and food during our two weeks in Cambodia. Even if you're not staying as a guest, go for the food, drinks and the beautiful view of the river where we watched a gorgeous sunset. Muoy and her colleagues really took care of us, remembered our names every day, organised trips and Tuk tuks into town when needed. This is a beautiful stay if you want a riverside experience.
We stayed in one of the bungalows which wasn't air-conditioned. I booked it without checking but staff provided an extra fan when requested which was excellent. If you want air conditioning make sure you book one of the rooms with air con.

The wonderful view, the fantastic cocktails made of Kampot pepper, and the so nice and fine food.
The bungalow is charming, an effort is made in decoration, but this type of room with bathroom under is more adapted to short stay. It is not enough practical.

The tree house very quirky.. but I forgot how much I need AC in 40degree heat, however I still manage an amazing solid 12 hours sleep
