Disappointing
Quiet and semi private
AC didn't work properly. TV had to get out of bed to change channels. Tried to cancel rest of the reservation. But they refused or basically only offer a small amount to be refunded. After calling again and again they moved us to the new room.

Good
1. Beachfront Sunset view
2.The coastal area has many giant trees. Resort Nestled in lush greenery.
3. Room was spacious and comfortable
4. Mini buffet breakfast, limited choice but fried noodles with seafood was delicious.
1. Staff was not attentive & lack of training. Entrance staff did not open the gate when we arrived. instead of welcome the guest they first ask for $5 entrance fees. They charge the visitors for $5 per entrance.
2.No staff standby at the car park to help the guest take out the luggage . When check out also No staff to send our luggage. The very basic service of hospitality was missing here. It's a long way to walk from our room to car park.
3. When we're relax at the poolside, one maintenance worker pass-by in front of us and talk on the phone loudly and then he walking around the poolside garden making all sorts of noise. We paid for our holiday, we are here to enjoy the scenery and tranquility to relax, but our mood ended up spoiled by these nonsense people.
4. Seaside restaurant area was run down, decors and set up was funny and foods are pricey .
5. Instead of Keeping a big outdoor area with very few guests, the property was NOT a pets-friendly resort, furthermore they set a crazy rule by imposed USD$250 fine if dog enter the room. If you are not kind to animal, why dog /cat owners need to support your business ? Outside food was not allowed as well, despite the property was about 18km away from kampot town.

Very Good
Quite and peaceful, feeling of nature, close to Bokor National Park, authentic round bungalows, friendly staff and environment, fine green well-maintained area with a lot of art craft things, own spacious beach, good swimming pool, tasty food in the restaurant
Need to be renovated. The sea is not for swimming. The loo in the bungalow is not enough separated from the bedroom so it’s a bit confusing… :)

Houses are really spacious, bed is really comfortable, view on pool is also really nice.
The place is really far away from anything, there is no entertainment on place or around, there is only restaurant in hotel which is quit expensive. The beach is nice and cleaned but water in sea has brown color and smell a little and really shallow which doesn't allow to swim.

The staff were all amazing, from the pool boy, the waitresses, cleaners and gardeners. The chef is absolutely fantastic.
We booked 3 nights but ended up staying 8 nights. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and didn't have a bad meal in 8 days.
Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place, we really didn't want to leave. For a good part of our visit, we felt like the only people there. It was so relaxing after spending 2 weeks touring around Cambodia.
The view from our room was amazing, infinity pool, the beach/sea and especially the sunsets.
Would definitely recommend!
It's a lot of ground, which takes a lot of upkeep. The staff work hard ! It could do with a bit of TLC, cleaning the pool, but certainly didn't stop our enjoyment!

We had an incredible stay. Nataya is a gorgeous resort in a lovely area. The photos don't do it justice!
They seem to be working really hard to get the place up to a high standard.
The staff are so lovely and go out of their way to make you feel at home.
They were very accommodating and we felt very looked after.
Nothing to report!

Good
I booked the hotel because of the photos showing the pool, beach and shady outdoor space. I wasn't at all disappointed and we were able to spent most of the day outdoors before heading into Kampot town. We had our own car so that wasn't a problem, I can foresee the location being an issue for anyone without their own transport. The menu was varied enough for me as a vegetarian to have some choice, and my sons enjoyed the food too.
Unfortunately there were sandflies on the beach, which i'd never seen before so I didn't realise I was getting bitten to pieces until a few hours later. Our room was also plagued by mosquitoes, even inside of the net the hotel supplied. As the bathroom was also outside our showers were both cold and quick to avoid more bites.

Wonderful
The hotel itself was great. Food at the restaurant was delicious - be it grilled oysters, their signature black pepper sauce, or fantastic breakfasts. What really made our stay great was the staff: from the manager to gardeners and janitors, they all were helpful, friendly and polite.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It was really far from the city and most of attractions, and the way was through quite a dusty and unpleasant neighbourhood (but the hotel itself is not dusty). However, the hotel is just near the entrance to Bokor National Park and could serve as a comfortable base for exploring it. Definitely recommend coming with your own car.

The grounds was beautiful and lush but it was raining most of the time we were there so didn’t get to fully enjoy the place. The check-in process was easy and they took us to our room on their little cart.
The room is not fully enclosed so there’s always a chance of mosquitoes in the room at night, which is expected, but one side of the mosquito net had Velcro installed incorrectly so it wouldn’t remain closed. Just that little opening made it possible for mosquitoes to enter and I had a lot of bites that night.
