The peaceful atmosphere of it, the simplicity, and comfort of it, the friendliness of everyone there, the natural and pleasant environment.
Everyone took great care of us, you have the comfort and intimacy you need and are always welcome to have a chat, a drink, or some food with everyone at the bar, chilling by the river, everything feels like youre at home even if youre far away from your own home! Thank you to Anne-So, Antho and Antoine, and big shoutout to Oscar the jungle star!!!

The Cabana is a wonderful place to relax. A small oasis on the other side of the river. The food is delicious. Especially the fish tartare! The owners are very friendly and always there to fulfill your wishes from tips about Kampot to laundry service to booking busses or just to sense when youre in need of a cold beer. Theres a pool table and a bar and always good music which is never too loud
The Bungalow is clean and cosy. Although theres no aircondition we slept very well with the two ventilators on. It was really nice having one of the dogs watching our bungalow when we were away.

It was comfortable with friendly owners. It is a beautiful Bangalow with beautiful gardens.
No car parking inside the premise however we could park outside overnight.

Nothing to like.
The Kampot Cabana owner is no good, they ruined our day. We asked the wife if we can have our clothes outside the property and she agreed to it. She asked for our documents but we told her we would come back and check-in. We didn't took the keys cause we hadn't check-in yet. So we walked out of the property, not knowing the guy owner was chasing us and yelling at us. He didn't even ask where we were going, he shouted aggressively. As a customer we explained our side but he wasn't listening, he was yepping and saying blah-blah-blah and barking. The lady owner which is also the receptionist she told my husband that we didn't do like that here.
We paid the place that we booked and decided not to stay in that property . I was so shocked with what happened today. WE FELT VERY UNSAFE IN THIS PROPERTY with the ATTITUDE of the OWNERS. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. We just decided to find another accommodation.

We tried the Asian food, it was really great. Beautiful set up outside, along the river. Also very eco friendly. The family running the business is really nice and welcoming!
Food prices might be a little bit high compared to Kampot, although its really good quality.

I was very excited for this booking based on all the reviews but I dont see what all the hype was about. Many of the reviews talked about out the food there and we didnt eat there so maybe thats where the glowing reviews stem from. Basic cabana with fan which had a distinct smell of rodent. I saw animal droppings on the counter and wanted to believe it was all gecko until there was a rat running across the top of the outer cabana wall. There were constant wafts of that open sewage stink throughout the property, its hard to enjoy and morning coffee with that smell. We got a guilt trip upon arrival about using toilet paper so went without. The hosts are not very responsive. I left some clearly written on expensive puzzle postcards in the room accidentally and recognized my mistake right away. I tried to contact the place within an hour of leaving trying three different ways, two WhatsApp numbers and through booking, and they didnt respond until the next day, at which all the postcards had been dismantled by their children.
Mostly everything was not great expect it was quiet.

Beautiful place! Bungalows are really nice, fresh and comfortable. Owners are super hospitable family, introducing really relaxed atmosphere. They provide also scooter rental, and bar on the river bank. Thank you for having us!

The bungalows were amazing, we had so much fun staying here. The hosts were so lovely and helpful. The food was nice. I loved the area and the bar sitting area over the river. Absolutely amazing stay and great value for money!
