Very Good
We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel. The room and staff were great, and the location is very convenient to restaurants and shops. There was ample parking for our car.
There are several late-night bars close to the hotel, and Friday and Saturday nights were a bit noisy until quite late.

It's a really nice place with friendliest stuff and really cozy atmosphere. When you check-in you have a feeling that you come to your friends home! Excellent decoration and management approach in hospitality.

This hotel, a lovingly restored old building, is so beautifully decorated with care and taste. The location is amazing - a green oasis right in the middle of the old town. Sarath, who was managing the property, is divine and could not do enough for us.

charming hotel, well located with a lot of potential. Really nice sitting area in our room, and overall interior leaning very much to early 20th century. A lot of effort has gone into sourcing and placing interior pieces in lobby and rooms.
Time for a new mattress. The addition of a ceiling fan would be a good move in the room and sustainable toiletries would add another level of boutique luxury. I think guests would pay the extra to cover these improvements because the bones are very good. The ground floor lobby has a lot of potential but really only half used. Its the type of hotel that could naturally embrace old French style hospitality and really stand out from the rest with a bit more investment.

Absolutely wonderful old building. Rooms are decorated in individual themes with beautiful detail. Very comfy bed.
The owner is so welcoming and accommodating. My checkout time was extended to accommodate my late departure on the train.
Convenient and central location, easy walking to all my favourite coffee shops and restaurants. One of the very best places I have stayed in Cambodia.

Breakfast prepared by owner,was excellent. Hotel is a 1930's French colonial style former home decorated tastefully in that era. Owner & staff are very helpfull & attentive to guests needs.

It was beautiful. The owner - an artist - has filled it with carefully chosen art and objects to create a calm, stunning space. Everything works and is well designed (lighting etc). The owner was delightful and gave us good travel advice. The location was perfect. Property was quiet.

Great guys, staff . large, elegant room. Close to downtown but quiet. Very close to river. Very strong customer focus. Looking at life out the window in the morning was refreshing. Couldn't ask for more.

La Java Bleu hotel is exceptionally stylish and tastefully decorated place. It is centrally located in Kampot city and has all one needs for a stress free stay in Kampot. I only staid there one night but I enjoyed the atmosphere and the attentive service. I think it is a perfect stay for solo trips, couples or to stay with friends.

Building in stylish colonial style. Room was very clean, exceed my expectations. Such high standard of cleaning can be seen rarely in Cambodia.
Checked in around 3pm. Ive been not in the room from 3pm and kept AC on because ceilings are high, building is old and seems heat insulation wasnt really good. When I came back in the evening, receptionist informed me he had turned off the AC to save money on electricity bill. Entered room without permission, saved $5 on electricity bill. Was it worth? To me not.
