Eden is a fantastic retreat about a 10-minute rickshaw ride outside of Kampot. The guesthouse is very basic with facilities such as compostable toilets, but the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is great being so close to nature and helping fund a sustainable guesthouse
No air conditioning, but guests understand this by reading the propertys description in advance

Amazing location right on the river. Quiet area and we enjoyed the kayaks. Easy to get to from Kampot using the Grab app. Welcome guide was thorough and informative.
The room was hot (no air-con). It was lovely for two nights but as it's very rustic it may not be very comfortable for longer stays.
There were holes in the mosquito net.

The location is dopamine enhancing stunning. The bed is super comfortable. Great food.
It is at the same time both cheerfully and unapologetically eco conscious basic, but the charm it oozes is mesmerising. I really loved it!

Beautiful bungalows with a cozy and relaxing vibe right next to the river. Comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels. Delicious and healthy food, the best amok!
Woukd really recommend using the free kayaks to go around the loop!
The sounds from fishing boats leaving/ arriving early in the morning.

This is one of the most special places Ive ever stayed at :) It came at the perfect time during my trip as I really needed to just pause for a bit. The staff are lovely and wow the amok is one of the best meals I think Ive ever had! I also loved the eco and social efforts made by the village

River bungalows are amazing. Great view to wake up to. Super chill vibes and perfect spot to relax. The staff at Eden are great, super friendly. The homemade food is really good.
The river bungalows could benefit from a little maintenance, theres some holes here and there etc, but overall this is also part of the charm! :)

We arrived first thing in the morning after an overnight bus and our room was ready so they let us have it straight away. Although music was played at Yellow Sun resort next door, it wasnt loud or intrusive but earplugs were still needed as were very light sleepers. Free bikes and canoes were excellent. Able to swim in the river- I wouldnt want to nearer Kampot.
The steps from the river need a bit of renovation.
