There are hotels you simply stay at — and then there are places you return to with your heart. For me, this is truly one of them.
From the very first moments, you feel a distinct atmosphere: the refined spirit of old London, thoughtfully reimagined in a modern setting. It’s not just design — it’s a mood that lives in every detail: the elegant interiors, the chandeliers, the character-filled elevators, the rooms, the bar, the lobby. This place has a soul.
A special mention to the team — genuinely warm, attentive, and effortlessly creating the feeling that you are not just a guest, but truly welcome.
The spa facilities are excellent: a pristine pool, well-equipped gym, sauna, and truly outstanding massages — all at very reasonable prices.
The restaurant is a true gem. Exceptional atmosphere, refined flavors, and a carefully curated menu. Breakfast deserves particular praise: thoughtfully designed to suit every preference, from local specialties to international classics.
Cleanliness is simply impeccable. This is a rare level of precision — no smudges, no dust, no overlooked details. Everything is maintained to perfection.
Laundry and garment care are handled with remarkable professionalism — on par with top international standards.
And finally, the attention to detail throughout the property itself: elegant, immaculate, and beautifully maintained. It clearly reflects the vision of an owner who takes genuine pride in excellence, supported by a team that shares the same commitment.
Thank you for setting such a high standard. Every time I return to Bishkek, this will be my first and only choice.

Reception always empty in night time, we could not reach anyone in mid night, no staff would attend our calls, we asked to switch on the AC and were told only heating is available, eventually we move to another hotel where AC was available and staff is more friendly

Good location in front of a bar and nearby restaurants and cafes. Room was clean and full of amenities, they even had free movies on demand.
The staff was a bit weird… first they chased me down after breakfast yelling at me to pay (like what’s the issue to pay at checkout), then after check out accused me of not paying for minibar which I did.
Our room service sent a wrong dish for my son and didn’t even get an apology.
Pool was nice, but the jacuzzi wasn’t filled :/

An exceptional hotel. Despite being 8 years old, it feels brand new.
The head chef prepares truly outstanding dishes – from salads to desserts.
From the moment you arrive, you feel completely at home.
Everything is done with great quality and incredible attention to guests – robes and slippers in different sizes, a full range of Acqua di Parma toiletries, and of course, the amazing restaurant (I highly recommend trying the à la carte breakfast).
Wish more hotels like this existed in neighboring countries!
The only thing that could be improved is the balcony doors – they are quite difficult to open and even harder to close.

We had quite a few problems during our stay.
1. The heater/Ac system in the room did not work and it was impossible to have a decent temperature in the room, from too hot to too cold, it really affected our sleep. Despite we told them and the technician came (while we were there during the night …) he did not fix anything but he wasted one hour of our time (and sleep).
2. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that you really do not expect this from a 5 star hotel.
3. At the reception most of the time there is nobody.
4. No luggage service
5. No valet service
6. The shower is really bad, it’s actually a tub with a glass and very low water pressure

Quite unexpectedly this turned out to be a perfect hotel for me. When faced with the choice of whether to stay 2 days more in Bishkek the Orion was an additional factor that made me stay. I can't even pick one particular feature: everything is perfect or near-perfect. High ceilings, decor, breakfast and excellent service at breakfast, spa with hearty massage, impeccable cleanliness, absence of unnecessary noise and glitter and other unnecessary disturbances. Sort of elegantly understated, not an Instagram place (finally...). Very calm, very safe. On top of this I could even open my window, which is a luxury in the centre of Bishkek - it was quiet enough.
Could be somewhat cheaper I guess ))
