Location, Spacious, Value for money.

Room was not ready when I got there, I checked in at 2PM and my room was not ready. I finally got in my room at 5pm and honestly I didn't like it. The fridge is older than my grandparents and had not been cleaned at all, it had hairs in it. Just one switch for everything so it's either your devices or fridge or WiFi which is ironic because that fridge was so disgusting I couldn't put anything in it and the WiFi did not work even for 5 minutes during my stay. It wasn't paid for
Everything was falsely advertised. There is completely no WiFi, the property is ran down, almost looks abandoned and the host was really unhelpful. Bathroom is badly stained and really disgusting. The bed was falling apart, stuffy pillows and bugs crawling all over. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you want a stress free holiday don't go there. If you work remotely like me don't even try because I didn't even remove my laptop from my bag the whole time because it's pointless without WiFi which should be basic.

Spacious and clean rooms, lovely staff and owner of the property always ready for a chat with a smile, big hello to Ali, Kenneth, Samuel and Jacob - the property is well located just under 10 mins walk from the main beaches and surrounded by shops, restaurants, banks, tuktuks… anything you need really… rooms priced well in comparison to other properties in the area, even though Watamu in general is a little more expensive than for example Lamu further north… we had a nice big balcony with great views right at the top… also nice pool for some refreshment within the property… overall a great stay and can definitely recommend!
