Beautiful property, excellent location for Karen, good food, nice pool, good staff, nice pond area to watch from dining area. Nice tents.
It was great. Slight hum of traffic but trade off is being so near to many tourist attractions. Tents did feel a little and damp after a big rain shower and there were lots of mosquitoes- but we did choose to go in rainy reason so expected.

The restaurant food was really good. Breakfast ok.
The staff on reception were very unsympathetic -with absolutely zero empathy or desire to make any gestures. All about money for them. I had been woken up by outside noise in the night and had a very bad nights sleep. (which she then claimed that it was not true as noone was around) I asked if we could have a late check out as was travelling on an overnight flight that day so I was feeling desperately tired. Apparantly the room was already booked, fair enough but they couldnt propose anywhere for us to spend a few hours and have a nap and a shower. I was so desperate I was crying but the receptionist was COLD AS ICE! The hotel was not busy. They told me I would have to pay a full nights price to get a room for 3 hours. They said with 20% discount but it was nonsense because I checked on Booking.com. She then said I could relax in the little lounge where there was a sofa and pool table, but impossible, huge school group, making lots of noise. She also said there were hot showers for use, a complete joke, a tiny trickle of water that changed from cold to warm to cold. The young students were either screaming from the heat or crying with laughter by the situation. Honestly, it took me two days to get over my fatigue.

My children loved the facility and felt safe to run around freely. They enjoyed the pool thoroughly and the staff was outstanding. They prepared a camp fire for us upon request and even helped us to toast marshmallows. The tent we got was very clean and no bugs were in our room. Overall very pleasant experience.
Dinner was served at 7pm which was a little late for my kids. There was also loud music in the middle of the night which made it hard to sleep. To be fair, the music likely came from a neighboring bar or restaurant, which is out of the Camps control.

The surrounding of the lodge is so beautiful, very peaceful. Great view from the restaurant.
Slept ok in the tent, a bit cold at night. Not ideal for me to have shared bathroom since i was sick from eating elsewhere

Little oasis in the busy streets of Nairobi, staff was very friendly and flexible (for early breakfast or dinner bookings), very responsive work pre-organization regarding shuttles, food was super good!
Especially during the night you could hear the traffic from the nearby road - but that was okay with ear plugs, the tent was dark due to insufficient lighting.
