Wonderful
This time it was better than last time (and the last time wasn't bad at all). Don't get me wrong - it's still a basic, albeit affordable accomodation and probably won't work for everyone but the amazing staff, affordable prices and great food are all too big of pluses.
The place has its own vibe, good wi-fi, somewhat central location.
Noisy foreigners waking us up in the middle of the night before an early morning. But the hotel has nothing to do with this, there's always party types everywhere :/

Have to keep in mind this is not Hilton - a simple accommodation for an affordable price with some issues, however in my opinion those are more than compensated by the amazing staff and very good and affordable rooftop restaurant. Have booked it on two more occasions during this trip and not regretting one bit!

Really nice B&B, very clean and welcoming, good decoration. Wifi worked perfectly, even on the ground floor and breakfast was very tasty and made to order, so no waste at all! Good options on the restaurant menu if you dont feel like going anywhere else and good views of the city!
Waiting time to be served, as at dinner I waited 1 hour for my food, but I understand they are making it fresh, so not a big deal but something to keep in mind!

There is a rooftop at the hostel, where you can hang out, have food or drinks.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was fine and the place was clean and tidy.
The double room that I stayed in was very smelly, I think because of the water in the bathroom. There was no bathroom door nor window.
As other guests have mentioned, taking a shower is problematic, and the water is either too cold or too hot.
One night there was no hot water at all and had to go to another room to take a shower.
One evening there was no water altogether for hours. The tanks were refilled in the evening, but the whole process took hours.
The room was very noisy! The way the building is designed, many rooms are near the kitchen, from where noise and food smells come constantly until late at night. The walls are not soundproof and the windows only open to the inside side of the building, that is, where the kitchen is and other activities from the guests take place. The neighborhood is also busy and noisy... no chance to rest in the room!
I would say the location is bad; there is nothing around and it is not convenient at all to explore the city centre, where most things are.
The mosquito net did not fit the entire bed, making it useless.
I honestly didn't sleep well at all in that hostel and I am not sure if I would recommend it. Maybe if you only spend one night and are looking for a budget accommodation....

Amazing staff, extremely friendly and helpful - from reception to kitchen. The breakfasts included are incredible, and the rooftop is a great place to chill out.
The area feels pretty unsafe, best to take an uber from the entrance to anywhere you want to go to in Nairobi. Also would've been nice to have a mosquito net in the room. The room was pretty loud, as the kitchen was right next to it, so you can hear people talking from 6am.

Nice hostel for staying some days in Nairobi.
Good breakfast and nice food for good prices.
Only the area where the hostel located is not the best. But over daytime very safe and with Bolt (Uber) your fine with transport in Nairobi. We would come back. Thanks for the stay

Staff were great, always helpful. The food and drinks were also really good. They let me store my bag there when I went for safari. I really like the place and would stay again.
There were some loud and rude guests who were shouting swearing and threatening the staff late one night, I don't think this was the hotel's fault though.

Khweza is a popular budget B&B, close to the Nairobi city centre. The accommodation is in four story building with an open central atrium. Rooms are very basic and small, but have ensuites and hot shower. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ordered the night before and is quite substantial considering it is free. It is served at the rooftop terrace restaurant and bar. Dinners are inexpensive and popular. There are a s number of eateries nearby, including the Swahili cafe a five minute walk along Ngara Rd.
Ngara Road where it is located street is quite grungy and unattractive.
