It’s a great facility if your visiting the city of Mombasa. The staff wonderful. The rooms great. The breakfast was excellent.
They shouldn’t say that they offer currency exchange for foreign bills. The standards are ridiculous for accepting those bills. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. If it’s an issue with the banks, fine, but that should be fixed.

It was close to Old Town and on a Main Street (all the Tuk Tuk drivers were familiar with it)

The stagf were friendly and helpful and inspite of being an old hotel ... it was still super clean
It was abit noisy coz they had a big screen at the pool area and the noise was heard in my room. It was like as if the screen was on in my own room

Breakfast buffet was delicious, bedroom was spacious, very nice staff (Mercy, the breakfast attendant, was really sweet!) the gym facilities were modern and great to use.

The breakfast was excellent. I really enjoyed the options of traditional Kenyan food and the regular food. Of course the fresh mango is my favorite drink. This was only exceeded by the patience and attention to help by the staff. Brenda at the front Desk, Salome, Tracey Vivian, Larry and Emmanuel and Laureen. All great staff members and others who's names I can't remember.

The staff was so very friendly, communicative, and helpful. We did a tour through the Kisite National Park and so very grateful for the ability to use the services after checking out.
None of the reviews expressed that the Mosque was so close to the hotel, and I was not expecting to be awaken by the call to prayer and extended service/loud speaker time.

All the staff were friendly and helpful during my two stays. Salome and Brenda went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my room. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast and lunch were very good.
The music from the bar/restaurant area was quite loud but they lowered the volume after I mentioned it when they called to see if I was satisfied with everything.
The pool felt very exposed to the bar.

Very nice staff, comfortable and clean room, central location. Indian food was delicious. Easy drive to Mombasa Airport.
Pool and restaurant area was quite loud (DJ and music). Pool is very shallow.

If you’re looking for somewhere convenient in Mombasa, the Sapphire is a decent spot. It is a bit outdated and with thin walls, but the staff are lovely and make an effort.

Vanessa and Fidelis made check in and check out a breeze with a warm welcome. for the breakfast Georges, the chef, the security lady were extremely kind. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities.
