Super friendly and competent staff made our stay really relaxed. Great pool and kid friendly beach. The brilliance water sports centre is an added bonus!

We liked absolutely everything about our stay at Mnarani Beach Club. The rooms were comfortable and came with a mini fridge. The staff was fantastic - friendly, kind, and super helpful. The food was great - different types of cuisine every evening plus a wide variety of menu items that could be ordered a la cart. The activities staff offered a variety of activities daily including evening entertainment that ranged from a trivia contest, to coconut bowling, to an acrobatic troupe performance, to a Maasai Dancer performance. Non-motorized watersports are also included with any package that includes meals. The spa services were also great and highly recommended. We loved our time and were sad to leave.
I cannot think of anything that didn't meet or exceed our expectations.

The free water activities for half board was good, the ocean and pool was so clean
It is far from Mombasa city centre almost 2 hours drive..
The buffet only had Kenya dishes (management promised to improve by introducing varieties from all over )
Half board only provide for food and tea no water even at dinner time (another thing management promised to revise)

The facilities, though dated, are well taken care of, clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing as was the private beach and the water activities that were included.
The time for breakfast could be extended a bit so that one doesn't feel rushed on holiday.

Loved the free water sports that comes with the full board or half board bookings which we got access to. We did some sailing and Kayaking. Room and AC was outdated but comfortable nonetheless. Guess the on-going renovations will solve this. The tap water was fresh - possible desalinated) which was a pleasant surprise for the coastal region, this made the shower epic. Food was also good and freshly prepared at each meal.
Check in process was quite long. Staff in the dining area could be more friendly, there were literally giving one word answers. There was construction ongoing in adjoining rooms which was disruptive. While the breakfast was good, they could have more gluten free options for breakfast. Provide more drinking water for guests.

Great views from the pool area. Restaurant area looks great, convenient location. Nice staff. Bed was comfortable and the shower worked normally, which can be an issue sometimes in this region.
The room I was in were very basic and a bit of a walk from the restaurant and pool area. No convenient power outlets in the room so awkward to charge phones, etc. It was under construction at the time, so the surroundings to my room werent pleasant, but not fair to judge them on that.

Amazing views. Super helpful and friendly staff. Lots of activities and entertainment. Poolside BBQ was amazing and beautiful. Reasonable price for food and drink. Nice gift shop. Nice that staff come with you to town. Good food selection.
The website makes it sound like the gym is part of the resort but its not and you have to pay separately and its not very good and was closed on Sunday . We are fitness freaks so this was important to us. Would have been nice to have a small sofa in the room. Fridge smelled a bit bad.

The breakfast was great, and I appreciated the friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere at the resort. I worked on my research while visiting so was only able to take advantage of the resort facilities to a limited extent, but I had all my meals at the resort and dipped at the pool or by the beach every day.
Meals were quite salty sometimes, but otherwise the food was good. Some young male staff members were rather eager to make friends, which as a solo female traveller can be a bit uncomfortable, but I felt safe overall.
