Exceptional
From the moment we walked into the room, it felt like everything had been thought through for three people, not just two with a rollaway as an afterthought. There were three full sets of amenities – three sets of slippers, three bathrobes, three amenity kits – and the extra bed was genuinely comfortable, not the usual lumpy sofa bed. Even with the third bed in the room, we still felt like we had enough space to move around and use the seating area.
The in-room amenities were a real highlight. They stocked high-quality skincare products, a loofah, and those very cozy pajamas that we actually ended up wearing. The vanity table with the lift-up mirror was surprisingly useful, especially for doing makeup without having to take over the bathroom. The bathroom itself was extremely well equipped, with a proper hair dryer and even a hair straightener already there – a small detail, but it made getting ready so much easier.
The shower was huge and very nicely designed, with frosted glass for privacy. One of us did joke that they could have taken a bit of that shower space and given it back to the bedroom, but that’s more of a style preference than a real complaint – overall it felt luxurious.
For us, the standout feature of the hotel was the lobby bar. The view is absolutely stunning, especially in the evening. We ended up spending more time there than we expected because the atmosphere was so relaxing, the service was excellent, and the food options were much broader than a typical hotel bar – everything from pizza to yakitori to sushi, plus great drinks. It never felt overcrowded, and every staff interaction was warm and professional.
Location-wise, the hotel is very convenient to public transit, with two subway stations nearby, which made getting around Tokyo straightforward. The one downside is the car/Uber access: the entrance is through an underground area that’s not very obvious the first time, and one of our drivers had trouble finding it. It’s manageable once you know where it is, but worth being aware of if you’re arriving by car.

I have stayed at many 5 star hotels but The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho was by far the best. The room was a 10/10 but the staff was a 20/10. When I booked the room I mentioned in the notes that my wife and I were celebrating our 20 year anniversary. They had a welcome package in the room congratulating us on our anniversary. And on checkout they said they would make sure we have the same view on our next visit. Regarding the view - AMAZING! The bar was top notch and breakfast restaurant was just as nice. The Prince Gallery exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be staying there on our next visit.

We stayed on the Club floor and checked in there. The staff in the club were very helpful as we planned our days. In particular, Club Supervisor Yuka Wakii spent a lot of time and effort researching places we would like to visit including some that were not the usual tourist destinations--like a street where locals shopped for clothes and groceries etc. The hotel has excellent restaurants although the one that serves complimentary breakfasts gets busy so allow a little time to get in at the peak morning hour. The room amenities are top drawer--very nice fabrics and tea sets etc. The bathroom and bathing area are spacious. The spa and gym area is very good with saunas and hot and cold pools on both (men and women) sides and a communal area and pool for laps. The people in the Club Lounge were exceptionally nice and helpful. Our trip was much nicer because of them.
The hotel is in a quiet area, good for serene walking but several blocks from any interesting shops or restaurants. The area is mostly office buildings and some embassy sites but it is close to a train/subway station so it doesn't take long to get to most places in Tokyo.

Would not recommend if you are at all sensitive to room air temperature.
The air conditioning was ineffective, and the room was quite warm at night even with the A/C set to maximum. This was made even worse by the mattress which was some sort of heat-retaining foam. My wife who is not normally sensitive to heat also had a miserable night from this. This was in April, where outside air is mild, but the windows do not open.
Their housekeeping/facilities was unhelpful, bringing a fan and telling me this level of A/C strength was normal and the same in all rooms. To avoid a second night of misery, we moved to the Grand Hyatt, where the A/C was fine, and they agreed to give us a 50% refund.
Hotel was otherwise fine.

Beautiful 5 star hotel with excellent staff. Facilities are amazing. We love their heated indoor pool for lap swimming, spa, and top notch fitness center. Everything is immaculately clean. The Club Lounge access and service was great too.

The Hotel was amazing and the city lights view from the bar was spectacular. Staff went beyond my expectation. I had one of the best massages in my life. The entrance off the elevator looking out into the bar with such an amazing view. of the Tokyo night lights. The staff was outstanding! The scent in the lobby still lingers in my mind.
