This is my second time staying here, and it’s still one of the best hostels in Tokyo. Located right near the most active area of Asakusa and near the metro station. They have a bar with like two separate lounge areas in addition to a nice rooftop area. It’s a memorable place to stay if it’s your first time in Japan, especially with a window bed viewing Sumida River.
Not a fault of the property, but the guest above my bed checked in around midnight and was loudly unpacking while talking casually with her partner. She also set an alarm for 7 AM the next morning, and then again at 8 AM, which went on for 20 minutes because I assume she went to take a shower or hang out in the common area. I ended up being tired throughout most of the day and wasn’t able to enjoy it due to her.
Please don’t be one of these guests. Let’s all work together to give foreigners a good reputation in Japan, yeah?

Very close to Sensoji-Temple and train station
Bathroom areas should be checked every morning, certain guests leave their dirty clothes and trash.

I really like the location of this hostel. Not only was it close to two train lines, loads of attractions were within walking distance. The bathrooms were great, and the bed was comfortable.

This hostel was fantastic! It is a 2 minute walk from Asakusa Station and easy to find. The staff is friendly, helpful, and willing to provide recommendations for where to eat/what to see during your stay. The bunks were comfortable. The showers were clean and the water was warm. There is a great view of Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree lit up at night from their rooftop deck. They offer luggage storage after checkout if needed. I would definitely stay here again!
Zero complaints!

Good
Location is great, close to Asakusa line and Sensoji. Staff are really friendly and facilities are really clean. However, bed was not comfy and room is not sound proof, you can often hear police siren passing by. I wasnt able to sleep well, especially the neighbors we had were really loud even after quiet hours, so i wouldnt recommend for light sleeper.

Very Good
The location was amazing, I could travel Tokyo conveniently because the Ginza line was 2 minutes away, also the Asakusa line is very close. I also liked that the Hostel was central in Asakusa but in a cute side street which was not too loud or crowded. The pods are very comfortable and more spacious than I know from other Pod Hostels. Also I was a little worried because of the bathroom, but I was almost always alone and never had to wait to shower. The Host also gave recommendations in the area and I made good use of it. Very helpful for the first night when I was a little lost, so I could just follow one of the recommendations.
I really missed a mirror (full body mirror). I never knew what I looked like because there was simply no mirror except one face mirror in the bathroom. Also please mind that if you sleep in a mixed room with men, the chances are very high that you will hear snoring, so make use of the free plugs :)!

Very Good
Very clean. Much better than expected. I was allowed to check in early, which was nice. Great little cubby hole "living room" with cozy seats and yoga/prayer space. Even offered drinks and my son had the breakfast, which he really liked. Our room was an unexpected pleasure, with a window that opened onto a deck with views of the river, bridges, and skyline. Would have liked to extend the stay but they were booked. I can see why.
The stairs were difficult to maneuver, especially with bags. If you're at all unsteady on your feet, it could be an issue. They're very narrow, with uneven hand rails. In the early hours of the morning when others started checking out, some were a bit noisier than they should have been, but kind of expected.

Everything was clean, quiet and comfortable. The living room area was great because it has a carpeted area for yoga/praying/stretching which we used a lot during our stay. Great value, and so close to the Asakusa line as well as a pretty view of the river right in front. Thank you so much for everything!
Nothing.
