Pleasant
The location was beautiful, snow and forest with mountains in the distance. The breakfast was good, there was a wide selection, accompanied with great views. The room has an old school charm to it, it's not modern but it fit right. There's a regular shuttlebus, which I recommend using, as it was 2000 yen for a taxi from the nearest station.
They don't say no tattoos allowed in the hotspring. Other hotels do, so you know not to book them. I was very disappointed and frustrated to learn that I couldn't use the hotspring. It was my main reason for choosing this place. Instead I was given a couple of bags of hotspring minerals to use in my bathtub, that annoyed me as well. I can do that at home.

Shuttle from Kitahiroshima to hotel was very convenient. I loved the outdoor onsen, winter view from the room was beautiful, had a pleasant stay.

great breakfast, great soaking pools, and great view from the room.
Half the bathroom floor floods when you shower. The floor is warped and peeling from the water damage. The room shouldn’t be used with that much water leaking every time.
