The hotel was close to bus stop and attractions. The room had a nice view of the area. The buffet dinner and breakfast was excellent. They included a great variety of food and drink choices (Japanese, Chinese and Western ...). Nice lounge area with free coffee and hot chocolate.
The hotel seemed old and needed some major renovation. The Onsen area was not very large. The bathroom in the room was very old and dirty. Elevators were very slow, so long wait. Front desk staff spoke limited English.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the Onsen was large, clean and not too crowded. Initially was a bit worried when the description said shared bathroom, but our room had its own bathroom so not sure what that meant in the description but were delighted that everything was good.
Was a bit difficult to find the entrance from the map, and google maps led us down the wrong road to the back, but once we found the entrance it made sense.

Hot springs area and buffet area has been remodeled and are new.
The bath room and refrigerator are really old. Bath room has black mildew on wall and shower curtain. And also smelled bad.

Even though a tad expansive, the staff was just marvellous to provide the best (I guess you’re paying for that)
Yukatas are available for the guests, so cool for foreigners to wear them
The onsen is great also
Lastly we got a wonderful gift to our kids before leaving which made the experience even more wonderful

Booked a room with 4 beds and a tatami for 2. Spacious room, nice buffet dinner and breakfast. Onsen facility is good. Free shuttle bus must be booked 2-3 months a head as always fully booked. Easy to take public bus (790Y) from JR Sapporo but the bus is always full. Stood in the bus for 90 minutes. Half way from Sapporo is Fu Snow resort, can get down for a half day ski on your way back to Sapporo. Connected to sister hotel, female sharing sister hotel onsen.
No private onsen. Was mistake for sister hotel with private onsen

The buffet spread for both dinner and breakfast were excellent. They have noodle/ramen station, sashimi, curry, salad, dessert station. They also have variety of soda and other drinks. Beer and other alcoholic drinks are charged separately but you'll be given a drink coupon for your drinks. And I must say that the seared tuna is a must try. And their onsen is not crowded, an excellent way to end or start your day.
At first, the way to our room is like a maze, but it's not really a big issue and you'll get use to it.

Tha location was very good.
The room was old which we were not mind much. However the room was smell and a bit scary during the night. The front desk staffs could not speak English. Dinner and breakfast was dissapointed.

Quite a wide variety for the breakfast and dinner buffet spread. I loved the fact that the hotel is a stone's throw away from the Jozankei Nature Luminaire.
