Poor
The location is excellent, very central with easy access to all the famous food spots and shopping areas. The free night time ramen was also a great and welcome touch.
The premium price tag is completely unjustifiable, and you can easily find much better options elsewhere for this amount of money. The room itself was poorly maintained with scratches everywhere, a heavy wood smell, and a weird odor in the toilet. Shockingly, the shower stall actually shook whenever I moved around during my shower, and the hairdryer was faulty, blowing only an ultra low stream of air. I have stayed at Dormy Inn before, but this was my first time paying for their premium tier, and I unfortunately received an ultra budget experience.

Location is amazing. The main shopping street is literally downstairs with pharmacies, convenient stores and restaurants all within reach.

Location was great. Center of everything you needed to see and want to do. Also the main entrance is under the covers of the mall.

Good
The hotel is very welcoming, they offer free popscile after bath and free comic book that can be bring to the room.
We booked for 2 adult and 2 kids ( 7 & 8 years old ), they gave us a room with two twin bed. There was a sofa that can turn to bed but they said they would offer the pillow, bedsheet and quilt for ¥6000 yens. I think this is not very ethical to put a family of 4 ppl in a room that could only sleep 2 people comfortably.

Good
The onsen and complimentary ramen
The staff is not friendly to overseas tourist and lack of services, given the price I paid

Wonderful
We stayed overnight here in mid January 2026, after driving in from Otaru before flying out the next day back to Tokyo. The location is great! The hotel backs onto Tanukikoji Shopping Street, which is a covered pedestrian mall several blocks long full of shops and restaurants. Very useful in the middle of winter! The rooms are functional and quite spacious. The restaurant serves free ramen from 9.30pm for those who want a late night snack.
Pro Tip: Nijo Market is a 10-15 minutes walk down Tanukikoji-dori. Go there for the morning market and get yourself some fantastic seafood don (bowl). We recommend Ohiso Nijo Market - Main Store.
Nothing in particular.

Location
Most of the things. It’s too expensive for the quality. I couldn’t sleep well. So dusty and the public bath was dirty and no good at all.

Amazing breakfast buffet, especially the sashimi seafood bowl! Excellent location, hot springs baths, and professional staff.
Room is dated and cramped.

The location is amazing, the staff was lovely, they offered free ice cream, probiotic drinks, snacks and ramen for the guests. Also, they offered free sticker sheets to cover tattoos for guests to use in the bath upstairs. Will definitely recommend!

Breakfast bar and room accommodations.
One of the staff member was not helpful. But others were super helpful. That's why the one didn't stood out.

Onsen is great with a variety of bathing options - this is why I would return. Snacks and coffee are available throughout the day as well as complimentary evening ramen. Staff were helpful, parking was convenient and easy to use.
Room felt a little dated and poorly maintained versus other Dormy Inn's I have stayed at, didn't feel as premium as the name may imply
Room was probably a little on the small side for two people even by Japanese standards
Elevators seemed to have an issue occasionally where they would visit every floor in the hotel regardless of if they had been called

The included breakfast was AMAZING! The only hotel where there is a DIY unli chirashi bowl for breakfast. Feasted on fresh salmon, scallops, tuna, hamachi and ikura. Other breakfast options were wonderful as well. The unli night ramen, free coffee, post onsen ice cream and probiotic drink were wonderful. Location was wonderful too, right smack the shopping street at the Susukino area.
The rooms were small and decor was a bot dated but the room was very clean.

Situated inside Sapporo's main shopping street, you are literally a 5 minute walk to everything in the center of the city. Plus this Dormy Inn features the above board amenities offered standard by their chain such as a hot springs, free ice cream afterwards, a morning probiotic drink and a late night (after 9pm) free noodle soup. The price is not bad as well so its worth it.
