Location was good and staff was attentive and professional.
Bed was so hard, felt like sleeping on a floor. Booking.com needs to get "child" parameters sorted out with facility. Hotel did not allow bed share for children over 5 so we had to buy an additional room. Not ok.

This was a comfortable, lovely, and convenient hotel in an excellent location. We were confused at the start because there is a sister hotel just down the street. However, that hotel staff gracefully showed us where we should go. We loved the sake happy hour. The room was great. It was just about perfect.
I can’t think of anything that we did not like about this hotel. However, the used sake cups did accumulate so that several times there were no clean ones.

Staff is amazing and very helpful. Great location. Enjoyed the free water, coffee, tea, and sake. Even though I didn’t use the new foot bath, it looked relaxing and clean.
I kept sneezing in the room even though the air filter provided was on during the stay. I’m not sure if it was allergies to the dust.

The washing machine instructions were lacking. Struggled to figure out what buttons meant. Went downstairs and asked lobby staff. They provided basic on off features but couldn’t explain how to change water and drying temps or how to turn off the child lock.

Everything here was exactly as described or even better. We loved the location and the charming restaurant steps away. After walking Kyoto streets all day, we enjoyed the free sake in the comfortable lobby and had a refreshing footbath. The room has good storage which is often lacking in other Japanese hotels. We opted for a room with a washer dryer in the room and it comes with a bottle of soap if you need it. The staff is helpful and professional.

Staff was amazing and accomodating. Very nice amenities and good location.
No termostat/AC in March, I like to sleep cold and the only option was to open the window. Blanket too warm, over all not super comfortable bed setup.

The staff was very nice. The hotel also accepted luggage delivery which made traveling much easier. I love that the location is off the main road,making it nice and quiet, yet with easy access to convenient store and restaurants. They offer free drinks in the lobby/lounge area, even sake.

The room size I booked was great. Having a washer & dryer is really handy. The mattress was firm, I think this is common here in Japan. Lots of nearby shops to eat.
My only issue was that the heating/AC was centralized. We had no choice but to open our windows because we couldn't change the temperature setting.
